Nobody should tell me that cisphobia doesnât exist EVER AGAIN. At least THIRTY LGBTQ kids were involved in trying to prevent me from going to prom (and they were willing to hurt me in the process), and the staff finally advised me not to go because they were worried about my physical safety. All of this was over me turning out not to be trans. They ruined something that was supposed to be fun for me because they felt threatened for no reason. All of the kids are getting talked to, and Iâm demanding an apology from every single one of them. (Also, a few of them have blogs were they regularly talk about hurting/killing cis people and transmedicalists. Iâm going to see that they suffer the consequences from that.) Did I mention that these people used to be my best friends when I was 14-15?
What should I do? Should I ask for anything else from the staff besides apologies from everyone?

I haven't spoken to most of them in years. Also I'm not anti-LGBT. I am bi. I may come out again and transition when I am older and ready. I held the same political beliefs when I was out as transgender.

Yes, I didn't feel like it was right for me.Also, there IS still a chance that I will want to transition as an adult. I'm just trying to live as female and see how it goes. I'm too young anyway, in my opinion.My main problem with medical transition was that I could have surgery and take hormones, and I'd still never be a real man.That's what hurts the most.

I live in a small, liberal city. The prom is for anyone regardless of school, so kids come from all over. And a lot of them happen to be gay etc.

Isnât it scary how things like this are a complete anomaly for cis people, but for Trans kids these stories are a dime a dozen?
I'm not saying that cisphobia is as much of a problem as transphobia, because it's not. But anyone preventing anyone from going to prom, especially without speaking to an adult, was a jerk move. Adults, including several LGBT ones, have assessed the situation and deemed that the behavior was unacceptable. Also, why are you assuming I'm straight? (I'm not.)
