I started this blog because I was having trouble studying for my Nclex boards. At the time, there weren’t many affordable Nclex resources available. While reading different Nclex books, I would choose a topic, read “everything” I could about it, draw pictures, then write about it. Every time I read something interesting, I felt the need to share it with someone. This blog has been my inspiration and an amazing incentive during my journey in preparing for the State Board Nursing Exam. I hope you enjoy my blog, Right Atrium, because that’s where it starts. ♥️

Back to the basics! Fun fact, the dorsalis pedis pulse is not commonly present in healthy young males. Have patient extend the foot to better palpate the dorsalis pedis pulse. The posterior tibial pulse is a good one to test in patients with heart failure to assess circulation.
