Peeta just wanted to feel Dom close to him like this and remember what he felt like, he missed him so terribly, he often wondered why he left, why he just vanished out of his life with no explanation. But he could ask later, at another time when his heart wasn’t pounding in his chest and he didn’t just want to hold onto the man in case he vanished from his life once more, he wanted to keep him close, to enjoy being around him once more. Before he knew it, Dom was pulling back, he was scared almost what the man was going to do, he imagined him just leaving again and this might just be a dream… but then they kissed, and he knew it was real. The artists eyes remained closed as he leaned in towards Dom’s mouth, deepening the contact. It was unreal, finally being able to do this again.

A quiet moan left Dom when Peeta deepened the kiss between them, arms tightening more around the other.  Dom was lost within Peeta, nothing else mattered at that precise moment except how he was feeling and then it happened: a deep feeling of love and loyalty to Peeta, the only man he'd ever loved like this and would ever love this way.  Sure, he'd loved his father and his team but nothing comapred to this kind of love.  Dom realized then that he was madly in love with Peeta; although he had realized it previously before he had to leave but being in prison changed Dom, again.  And now he wanted to shout it from the rooftops that he was in love.  Dom deepened the kiss more, swirling his tongue around Peeta's slowly and pressing his body flush against Peeta's.

Peeta was quiet as he just held his arms around Dom, his face stuffing into the mans broad shoulder as he just gets a rush of the memories. His body felt familiar, he could recognize everything about it and the feel of it in his arms. “I missed you too.” The artist whispered with a shaky sigh, he couldn’t believe he was actually seeing the man again, it almost felt like a dream, that he would wake up any second and he’d be gone.

There were no words to describe how Dom felt in the safety of Peeta’s arms.  He would never admit it, but it was the safest place he’d ever been and the only place he wanted and needed to be.  While away, Dom missed his family but truth be told Peeta was the person that was on his mind day and night and Dom wasn’t sure how to let Peeta know that in words.  The only thing he could do was show him.  Without any hesitation, Dom pulled back, gazed into Peeta’s eyes for a moment before closing his and kissing Peeta.  Every single memory of before the night he vanished came rushing back to Dom the moment his lips touched Peeta’s and there were tears that represented how much Dom missed Peeta more than he could explain with words.

Peeta waited with a smile on his face before the heard the doorbell, making him feel excited, it had been so long since Dom had almost vanished out of his life, he had missed him and tried to convince himself he’d see him again and finally it was going to happen. The artist opened the door, a grin appearing over his lips as the man was in his view. He didn’t even say hello, he just pounced forward, arms being thrown around Dom.

"Whoa," Dom chuckled when Peeta pounced forward, wrapping his arms around Peeta tightly and embracing him.  Everything that he had been through in the last six months vanished the moment he saw Peeta and Dom sighed in relief when Peeta threw his arms around him.  "I missed you," Dom whispered, tightening his arms around Peeta slightly, his smile never once faltering.

“He’s cute. I appreciate the eye candy, but I still don’t trust him. He’s putting on airs but doesn’t have the skill to back it up.”

Dom shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest while leaning back in his chair.  "There was a time I didn't trust you Iah so don't pass judgement so fast.  Everyone deserves a chance and until Brian proves to me that I can't trust him, I'll give him a chance," Dom explained, chugging his Corona a little before putting his attention back to the other.

"Besides, we need someone good with engines and he comes recommended by Harry.  If he checks out with Harry, I don't think we have much to worry about," Dom added, inhaling deeply and quickly finishing his beer.

Dom stowed his phone inside his back pocket, smoothing out his dark blue button down shirt while walking the few feet to Peeta's door.  He inhaled deeply, knowing Peeta deserved and explanation for his disappearing but honestly hoping he wouldn't have to do so right away.  He pressed the doorbell, patiently waiting for Peeta to answer, the butterflies in his stomach making him inhale again to calm himself.
