I really REALLY want Irius post resurrection to look a little fucked up? like maybe at Lucio’s ritual last minute he grabs at Irius (I imagine his resurrection to be more like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon but irius is the butterfly and lucio is the flaming dying cocoon lol) and the magical flames of the ritual climb up Irius’s arm and burns parts of his face and arms and chest.

Like I really want to drive home the guilt that Asra feels for resurrecting Irius the way he does, he came back to him alive but at what cost ya know? I just like the idea of Irius coming back a little different than before his death which would make the townsfolk who do recognize him and don’t say anything even more fucked up and scared of him

ooooOOOOooooo thinking about Asra having a personal shrine/memorial to Irius who passed away during the plague places somewhere in their living quarters in the Magic Shop to help him cope with the grief of losing Irius

OOOOOOOO thinking about how Irius (post resurrection) doesn’t know who it’s for but knows it means so much to Asra, but Irius will occasionally light an incense or pray at it to show respect. Asra probably answers with “it’s for an old friend of mine”. SOBBING
