If you genuinely think that CCs don't have the right to tell you what to write, draw, or ship, then you don't have the right to tell them how to react to it when you do.
If you purposefully cross a boundary, you don't get to act surprised if you get blocked or disliked by the CC and their fans. You don't get to bitch and cry because you think you're allowed to make someone uncomfortable but they're not allowed to make you uncomfortable.
"do what you want forever" also includes "deal with the consequences forever".

Well see, this is super easy to avoid. Just don't do it. Or if you somehow can't help yourself, do it in private groups of like-minded fans. AO3 famously has anonymous options too, and plenty of ways to filter or turn off comments to avoid flack. This boogeyman of harassment is nothing. There are ways to still violate a CCs boundaries with minimal consequences so long as you aren't loudly proclaiming your right to sexually harass a twitch streamer on a public forum.
Fighting about this makes you all sound like absolute freaks, and THIS is why the MCYT fandom has such a bad reputation. Do better or do it privately, idgaf.

As of June 7 2026 Avidmc and Marma1ade have quit content creation.
Also as of June 7 2026, creators from the Minecraft server Skyblock Kingdoms (sbk) have come forward about “irrevocable damage [Avidmc and Marma1ade] have caused to SBK and its friends” (quote from Sbk statement on twitter) and have removed them from the server.
Below is a time line of statements, with links to the original, for ease of access. However I want to make clear that every one of these statements does not ask for aggression or violence against anyone, infact many implore the reader not to send any hate or aggression. Instead these statements ask for caution. ⚠️ do not attack anyone for who they support. Do not send hate to anyone involved.
