i just looked through the rau fanart tag too.. i remember being so nervous about expressing appreciation for your art because you're COOL and i was SCARED. also that was back when i called you verdant because verdy felt too informal at the time and what do you mean this cool person makes art for my silly fic and what do you mean we're best friends now

I remember when I saw fics I like and found Verdy as a reoccurring author of some of my favourite fics- I remember wanting to read âYouâre Alive, Youâre Alive, Youâre Aliveâ cause I saw someone recommend it but not having an account. I remember finally getting an ao3 account and reading all of rau, I remember feeling inspired to do fanart, being afraid to be seen but also tagging Beanie cause I wanted them to see it but instead you both saw more than just my work - you both followed me and talked to me AND NOW WEâRE FUCKING FRIENDS :D
I joined tumblr in October last year because of vsmp(shoutout @caliburnu5). The only other social media I was on was instagram where I barely got any recognition and it was so hard to gain reach. I didnât realise tumblr would be like this - so fandom based and allowing me to find my people. Iâm so fucking glad I joined cause now I get to hang out with such amazing and cool people-

I was thinking about a Bannerfall x ATLA AU, which at first started as vibes. But then I got to thinking, what kind of Bending actually matches the magic/abilities shown in Bannerfall? so here's what I think reasonably matches the abilities shown in the series (with explanations for any that aren't obvious).
-Scott's abilities are technically light-based, but that's not a thing in Avatar, so the closest thing is plant manipulation, which falls under Waterbending.
-Cam and Sausage have abilities related to healing and life, which falls under Waterbending as well.
-though Katie technically doesn't have access to magic, she does use pocket sand, which is basically Earthbending if you think about it.
-and finally, all of the rogues are incredibly agile, able to double jump and negate fall damage. these abilities make a lot more sense if you say that they use airbending to heighten their movement.
(you could make an argument that Apoâs Shooting Star would also be akin to airbending, but I'd argue it's not entirely outside of the realm of possibility for a well-trained knight. if that's not enough, then either she's blessed by the Moon Spirit or the Kyoshi Warriors can just Do That.)
Nom got that Zuko is kinda scarier when he doesnât firebend energy. Also you could give Nom earth bending as well the mace slams make the ground shake

basically I thought I was a romantic ace because Iâm still interested in the deep emotional relationship part of having a partner and ya know having one. Which is not exactly whatâs how that works. Aromantic comes from the âyou know those love hormones/feelings, âšdonât get/have thoseâšâ
Iâve been interested in people as a potential partner before but after doing some digging and chatting with some friends things were starting to click
aesthetic attraction- yeah I have that I know how that works see something/someone and youâre like prettyyyyyy â
sexual attraction- that thing I donât have the one that makes you want to have sex or be interested in someone in that way â
romantic attraction- thatâs like wanting to have a soulmate/bestie you live with and carry a very deep and emotional bond with â
romantic attraction- the butterfly tingles of liking someone finding them cute, often followed by the desire to kiss/cuddle/get physically affectionate â
basically I confused the end result of romantic attraction with the actual experience of it
when I realized this (plus discovering QPRs exist) I started to think hold on a minute that flawed understanding is what landed me in romantic asexual
