@douglasbooth: Meet my new pal Riley! 👀
He looked at Riley and he shrugged softly. “I’m not really a goodie, goodie, but I just never really tried it.” He said as he looked at the other male. “I am nineteen years old.” he mentioned to the other male. “No, I don’t mind you asking at all. I’m a werewolf.” He said to the other male. “How about you? What are you?” He asked the other male. “I uhm.. Would you actually care if I tried the wine?”
“Nineteen? Like actually nineteen or like, I just turned a hundred today but I tell humans that I’m 22.” Raising an eyebrow, “A werewolf, you’re not related to Professor Gonzalez are you? I’m assuming here, werewolf and you both have that sexy tan skin think happening over there.” Taking another sip out of the bottle and nodded. “I’m a faerie. I’d show you the wings but the wine hasn’t kicked in enough for me to take my shirt off for you.” Smiling as he stood and walked a little closer to other student, sitting closer and handed the bottle over. “I don’t mind corrupting you, better with a fae then a demon.” Shrugging at his judgmental statement.
Miguel heard the other male say that it would be okay if he did sit down there. He smiled as he walked back over and he sat down a little bit from the other and shook his head slowly. “No, but thank you for the offer.” He said to the other male. “I’ve never drank before.” he said to Riley before he found his view switching over towards the water.
The comment took him by surprise, he didn’t know how it was possible. “Are you a goodie goodie then?” Glancing over quickly. “You’re a supernatural creature, how young are you?” Riley learned long ago never to assume someone age. “Or better yet, what are you? If you don’t mind me asking.”
“Some of us walk softly naturally.” Todd said with a laugh as he came out on the bluff and looked past the rocky outcropping as the sun sank into the sea out on the horizon. “I’m not here to really steal your wine or your time. Just heard from someone that the sunsets up here are spectacular.”
“If you’d like me to leave, I’m sure I can find someplace else to enjoy it.” Wright says amicably.
Shrugging off the comment but didn’t bother to turn around. Chuckling a little, there was no way someone was going to take his wine. “You can stay, it really is the best place, I’ve been all over this island and I’ve yet to find a better view.”
Miguel had been on the island for quite some time now, but he just couldn’t see himself calling this place home. He just wanted to take both of his brothers and go back home to where their real home was. As soon as Miguel came to the island he had found his own place to watch the sun set and rise as well. he thought of it as the perfect view so he decided that since he was feeling down, he would go visit the place that he found comfort in. “Sorry.. I come here to enjoy the sunset, I can find another place to sit at if you don’t want me to sit here.” he said as he turned around and started to walk somewhere to sit.
Looking over his shoulder, the fae gave a lazy shrug. “I don’t mind, I’m actually in a good mood right now.” Lifting the bottle of wine, “Want some? I don’t bring any glasses though.” Turing back to face the water and brought the bottle to his lips to take a drink. “It’s Pinot Noir, simple but perfect.”
Dante managed to concentrate on something other than restraining himself from his blood lust enough to notice how Riley was attempting to be nonchalant. But the fact that this fae knew where to get blood, and it was in a professor’s apartment spread the scent of scandal that managed to overpower the scent of fae blood. “Oh, I’m interested. More so why you know where this blood is kept. This vampire lover of yours wouldn’t happen to be a professor, would it?” Dante mused, leaning in closer to the fae and staring directly into his eyes. He wasn’t compelling him yet, but if he had to he had no objections.
Riley was watching the vampire closely, he didn’t seem like a threat, just looked like he really wanted to get his hands on some blood. “Not anymore. Or well no wait, we’re not lovers anymore. We’re just friends right now cause of the while students and professors don’t sleep together. So yeah, we’re just friend.” Cursing himself on the inside for slipping again. “I can’t say that you cn have much but I don’t think he’ll miss a bag. Get’s pissy when people touch his things.” Riley shrugged, staring back into the man’s eyes, reaching past him to pick up his cup to quickly finish it off. The fae stood up and took a step back. “You coming?”
Riley had been sitting on the for about an hour now, it wasn’t very often that he got to watch the sun go down and be able to stick around to enjoy the starts come out. It was something that he liked to do, find a spot and have a bottle of wine, knowing that he’d go back to Jude tonight. Still not finding the right time to bring up the questions he’s wanted to ask his lover for a few days now. He heard barely picked up on the sounds of foot steps behind him. “Can’t a fae come to rocky cliff and enjoy a bottle of wine on his own?” He wasn’t annoyed, just wanted to call the other person out on creeping around.
“It is getting closer and closer to the full moon,” Adrian said as he rolled his head to pop his neck. “So if you need something please be direct, patience is not something that I have a lot of and I hate being rude,” he said before looking at the person in front of him. “So, how can I help you?”
“Sorry?” Not really caring as he sat down across from the professor. “I just wanted to know what your body goes though during the change, and this time too I guess.” Scratching the back of his neck.” I think I’m going to see if I can change majors. Maybe start pre-med.”
Explain || Riley and Jude
“I never said I thought I was, I said I am.” Jude said, correcting his lover. The vampire didn’t care for expressing his feelings but admitting he loved Riley was more of stating a fact, at least that’s how he saw it, he wouldn’t have stayed by the fae’s side if he didn’t. He nodded at his lover’s words, shifting closer to him when he noticed Riley stop, cupping the younger man’s cheek. “You never have.” Nodding once more at the apology, caressing the cheek with his thumb. “It’s over now. Drink some more water and let’s go to bed.” He said standing up, this time offering a hand to Riley.
Leaning into Jude’s hand, smiling a little at his comment. “I’m not good at hiding for you? Or just not good at hiding period?” He didn’t expect an answer and was so tired. If this had started little any other little fight than Riley would have demanded being carried to bed but this one, the fae reached out to accept the vampires hand up. Dropping his lovers hand insistently and wrapping his hands around his middle, hugging the professor until his eyes cleared of spots. He loved this vampire, he wanted to be with him, wanted to be able to say they were boyfriends, Riley would have to pick the right time to have that conversation though but after tonight, oddly enough he was more sure that he would accept it. “I love you too, so you know.” Squeezing the water bottle as he moved towards their bedroom.
Oh, how the other was feisty. He loved it. It really was a shame that the other wasn’t a bottom, but it wasn’t anything he could do. “To be fair, I never thought you did bottom,” Logan stated with a shrug. It was true, though. After years of being able to observe someone to get to know them and their vulnerabilities, he was good at reading them and could pick up a few things within minutes of talking to someone. And it was clear from the way that the other held himself that he was a top. “That depends on how serious you were about fooling around. Because I’d love to see if those lips can handle what I’ve got,” Logan stated with a teasing grin, throwing the cue ball in the air and letting it land in his hand before he looked the faerie over with an eyebrow curling up. “What’ll it be?”
Thank God, someone that didn’t put a front up. “Most people get all... Snubby when I tell them that I don’t bottom. Then drag them off for some blowies and they basically shove their ass’s at me.” Shrugging a little, eyeing the mans plants. “That think about black cocks true?” Raising an eye brow at the other man. Watching Logan toss the cue ball. “You’re doing me first.”
Ben had started wandering around campus after his last class had ended, he didn’t have much else to do. Well he could mark papers or do something productive. But he just couldn’t bring himself to do anything. So there he was. In the common room; normally where the students hung out. But Ben was only interested in the air conditioning. “Huh?” he furrowed his eyebrows after having taken a seat looking through his phone when he heard the other speak. “Um – are you talking to me or…”
Riley turned on the new comer quickly, glaring at him. “No, I don’t talk to people.” He felt his blood still boiling. “It’s just a passing comment, you can be on your way.” Slouching in his chair and looking back at his homework, frowning and tapping his pencil.
Little Saltston Hart, but you can call him Salty.
Dante lowered his glass and looked the other male up and down slowly, eyes drinking in the not so disappointing view. Just as the vampire opened his mouth to speak, it hit him: that undeniable fae scent that had always stood out so prominently for him and made him hunger like no other blood could. Instinctively he licked his lips and fought the urge to bear his fangs. “You, umm, you know a lot about blood then, eh?” Dante offered meekly, closing his eyes out of embarrassment for that pathetic attempt at moving things along. He took in a deep breath, then opened them again this time managing a smile as well. “Right. Good stuff. Do go on.”
Following Dante’s tongue with his eyes, Riley bit his own lip and nodded. “I’ve been loving with a vampire since I came to this realm.” The fea shrugged his shoulders, he was sick of lying and saying that they were brothers but why not just friends, that could be a thing. “It’s back at the professors apartments.” Giving a little shrug like it was no big deal. “If you’re interested.”
Explain || Riley and Jude
Jude moved taking a seat on the edge of the couch next to his lover, looking over at him. The younger man crying always put his temper in check, making him give up on whatever they were fighting about at the time. He blinked in confusion when the fae started telling him why he left, it was something he’d asked about before, curious but he’d never gotten a straight answer. “Why are you telling me this now?” Not understanding the sudden change in topic.
If there was one thing that Riley knew, it was how he felt about Jude and when you feel this way about someone, you stop hiding form them. “You said that... You said that you thought you were falling in love with me.” Looking over at the vampire, his eyes were still a little glassy but he was trying to keep as much emotion out of it as possible. Looking down at the bottle again.“You don’t run from the people you love.” Glancing up at his lover. “I don’t want to hide.” Moving a little closer to Jude but stopping,he didn’t want to upset the professor. “Not from you.” Looking back up at him. “I’m sorry,”
Explain || Riley and Jude
Seeing the others eyes, how red and teary they were, Jude’s arms fall to his side letting out a deep breath. He walked closer to the fae, crouching down in front of him. Part of him feeling guilty, Riley was usually tougher than this, not so quick to back down so that either meant the younger man knew he was wrong about the situation or somehow Jude pushed too far this time. Reaching forward he placed a hand on the other’s thigh looking up at him, he hated apologizing so he hoped his lover would understand the small gesture. Remaining silent he stood up going to the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water and heading back to the sofa, offering the bottle to Riley. “Don’t do it again.” He said, his voice softer this time.
Riley tensed hen his lover reached out to him. This feeling wasn’t right, not towards Jude. Looking down at the hand on his thigh, letting a couple of tears fall before looking over his shoulder. Snapping his head over to watch Jude’s back, bringing his own hands up to rub at his eyes with a need to stop the tears. “Jesus, what’s wrong with me.” He sighed to himself. Jumping when the vampire came back and handed him the bottle. “What?” He asked, shocked that the fight was already over. Shaking his head, staring that the water. “I was being sold.” Swallowing and uncapping the bottle, still shaking. “Cause of the healing, I was being some to another realm.” Turning the cap back on the bottle. The fae has never told anyone why he’d left home. “I ran.”
Explain || Riley and Jude
At the confession Jude just stood there, already aware of the fact but at least the fae was finally admitting it but it didn’t do anything to calm the vampire. He shook his head at the excuse crossing his arms over his chest. “You should have let him starve, if he doesn’t know how to take care of himself it’s what he deserves.” If his lover was telling the truth it was just pathetic, a vampire allowing themselves to get that weak, knowing going that long without feeding but to him it just seemed like a lie. Jude reached down grabbing the glass of scotch off the table finishing it off in one go, it would take far more than that to make him feel anything but the burn was a comfort. “Open your damn eyes.” He said, almost everything his lover did angered him right now. “Did he take that much from you that you can’t keep them open? Hell, you could barely walk in here. Did you even know him, Riley? Or was getting back at me that important that it didn’t matter with who?”
Shaking his head a little, he couldn’t let someone starve. He knew where Jude was coming from, he’d only seem Jude extremely hungry a small handful of times over the last fifty years. Flinching back into the sofa, he didn’t want his eyes to be glassy but he knew he was on the verge of crying, something he never wanted to do in front of his lover. Opening his big blue eyes, knowing that they were red. It wasn’t just the fact that the other vampire had taken more then Riley thought he would have, but the fae had skipped dinner, being to sick to his stomach after talking with Jack. “I have no reason to get back at you.” Bitting his lips again Riley blinked his eyes a couple times to clear them. “I’m sorry.”
