Stripped down || Riley + Blake
“No..no it’s not.” She muttered shaking her head just barely since even that wasn’t something she could barely muster up to do. She was aware of Riley in front of her but she still had to instinct to run except she needed him. She had no idea if she’d run into another familiar face from here to her place so he was her best shot. Feeling that weak usually felt as miserable as the wolfsbane coursing through her but right now, she had no care for it in the world. Looking at his outstretched hand she hesitated momentarily but slowly raised a shaky hand to grab ahold of it. It was painful, everything was, but she’d push through it if it meant getting somewhere out of sight where she could shut down safely. “They don’t do the pain justice..” She mumbled taking all the strength she had to push herself up from the ground only to fall into him, wincing the same time she did from the strain of all of it. She could feel the involuntary tears rolling down her face. “Please, get me out of here…please.” She pleaded quietly as her vision went blurry, letting herself really feel the effects of the wolfsbane in her system without the heightened adrenaline, of course it was still there but either Riley was going to help her or he wasn’t and she’d be screwed either way so she leaned into him, almost in defeat.
Turning his gaze down to her hand, he studied the marks across her wrists and knitted his brows together. Her skin looked like it was burnt, the fact she was so weak made the cause quite obvious, at least for him, the smell was still lingering on her skin anyway. “Hey.. hey, alright - look at you, I don’t think you’ve ever been so polite” he made a passing comment, just to say keeping her up-right so he could study her a little more. “This might hurt, B.” He warned her as he moved an arm around her back, tucking the other behind her legs to scoop her up in his grasp. He paused once he had a hold of her and looked at the sheer pain in her face. It made him sigh quietly – there was something about seeing her in such a state that didn’t sit well with him. Maybe it was because he had grown used to the sarcastic whirlwind that was Blake Pryce, that wasn’t just a front she used… All that attitude showed her for who she was.. A fighter, someone who wouldn’t take anybodies shit. He wondered what had happened to her, but figured he best wait before bombarding her with questions. “Hold on…” Riley glanced around before flashing off into the distance. His place wasn’t far, they made it to the doorstep in a mere minute. Opening the door, he walked carefully with her inside and shut it behind them, flipping on a dim light. “Ok - you’re safe now…” he looked towards her, trying to keep his grip delicate so not to irritate her skin. “So, dry your eyes and let’s get you sorted out, yeah?” Riley hushed her as he made his way to the sofa.

Leaving behind a trail of goosebumps with every inch his finger gently grazed up her spine, Madeline’s hands cupped the back of his head as her fingers laced into his hair. She continued to revel in the taste of his blood in her mouth as it entered so warm and willingly, coursing its way through her bloodstream like an electrocution. She could feel her skin growing hot with desire with each second that passed as he shared his blood with her, sending her mind into a state of euphoria. Unlatching herself from Riley’s neck once the intensity grew more than bearable, her fangs slowly retracted back into her gums as she licked the remaining blood from her lips, her eyes traveling up his face towards the emerald orbs staring back at her. His hands grazing against her ear caused the thin hairs of her neck to rise at their contact. With her heart racing wildly in her chest, she was more than surprised that he hadn’t mentioned the sound of it at all. But from the subtle smirk she was able to catch, it was the only confirmation she needed to put her hesitant thoughts to rest. Once her back met the wall in a matter of seconds, his lips hovering over hers caused her to inhale sharply through her mouth as she practically quivered with excitement. Before she could react, the feeling of familiarity coursed through her body as his lips crushed against hers. They were the same set of lips she had grown to secretly love and desire–one she hadn’t realized she was missing up until this very moment. Her eyes gradually closed as her lips moved in sync with his, parting her mouth open to taste every bit of him as possible. But it was only a matter of seconds before her eyes fluttered opened in an instant, grabbing a hold of him from both sides of his arms as she broke away from their passionate kiss. Shoving him off of her as she sent him back a couple of feet, she lifted herself off of the wall as her brows came together incredulously. “Are you mad?” she spat. “You think you can just run off and disappear for decades without so much as a single letter or phone call!” Her words nearly shook from the intensity that they left her lips. Drawing a predatory step forward, her eyes narrowed slightly at his figure in the dark room. “You think you can just show up and expect us to just jump back to where we left off, just like that?” Drawing another few steps forward, her body suddenly relaxed as her hands reached the top of her blouse, quickly unfastening the buttons from top to bottom while her eyes remained on his. “You think that I would just give my body up to you, without so much of a challenge?” Her shouting had subsided now, her voice leaving her lips low and sultrily. As she slipped her blouse off of her shoulders and onto the ground, she took another step forward. “You don’t call the shots, Jord,” she sneered, cocking her head to the side condescendingly. She stole one last step towards him until their bodies were just inches away from each other, a mischievous grin spreading itself over her lips. “I do.” Grabbing a hold of his waistband, she clutched it tightly in her grasp as she tugged his body forcefully into hers, closing the gap between them as her eyes never once left his. Tugging the corner of her lips into a lustful smirk, her eyes flickered back and forth between each of his hues as she uttered her next few words, “Now fuck me.” Her lips met his a second time, crashing into him with enough force to prove to him just how much her body needed his.

Being taken and tortured, was one thing. Living in New Orleans, hearing about everything that happened within the lives of the people she knew, it was almost like she was waiting in line for a turn at getting tossed around and beat down in this place. It was awful and it made every face she saw in the crowd that wasn’t Tara feel like a threat. The real kicker though, the thing that was truly sending all her emotions into overdrive was Cook. He was dead and his body was left behind which made Blake want to scream from the pain she felt emotionally. The physical aspect, was of course just as bad but her emotions were what was really suffocating her. She had lost Tara within the crowd of people and she was panicking, looking all around her as she pushed through them or at least attempted to. She was weak, bloody, and the healing was going no where with the wolfsbane still circulating in her system. Really, she was more ready to collapse than anything else but the adrenaline was keeping her up. “Tara!” She tried getting out her name in a yell, but her mouth barely could keep itself open no less, yell out her name. In attempts to move out of someones way she bumped into another person, who made her stumble to the side a bit only to be pushed accidentally by someone walking backwards which sent her flying off to the side, outside of the crowd that was moving along down the street, smacking right into someone on the sidewalk. Groaning from the pain the hits she was taking caused she took a moment before realizing she had run right into a male. Without looking up to see who it was, panic took over once again, deluded by the idea of the person standing in front of her was the same man who had taken them. Trying to move backwards, she tripped which sent her flying to the floor making the pain she already felt even worse. It was only then, when her only option was to look up that she realized it had been Riley the whole time. Trust had gone out the window with almost everybody but in that moment she needed a familiar face. “Please help me.” She said so quietly, she wasn’t even entirely sure she said them at all. @riley-braxton
“I’m heading out, make sure you lock up properly this time, eh?” he tossed the keys over to the bartender as he continued his stroll out the doors. Riley had been in the city a couple months now, though it wasn’t very long, he was pleased with the progress he was making. Whenever he had something big planned, he always started slow - it was just more fun that way. Gaining people’s trust only to shatter it when they least expect it gave him an undeniable kick. Keeping to the outside of the current parade, the vampire had his hands in his pockets as walked on with his gaze fixated on the crowds. He wasn’t hungry, just bored, which was as good an excuse as any to pull someone into his grasp. Pulled from his thoughts when someone collided into him, he pursed his lips, ready to give them what for. However, when the smell of blood filled the air, he quickly looked down, lifting both brows not only at the state of her, but the fact it was her. Blake, the girl who looked like she could bring an army down with just her sass. Riley caught her whisper, the pain and shame in her voice was obvious and for some reason, rather than finding a situation like this amusing like he normally would, he actually kind of pitied her. Whatever happened to her, he knew it must have been hell because anything less and she wouldn’t have so openly asked for his assistance. “Hey, look at me… It’s okay.” Riley gave her a nod, he looked around, not seeing anybody chasing her, not even seeing anybody who looked remotely concerned either, they were all too focused on the parade to care. “C’mon, let’s get you out of here.” As he held a hand out to her, he readied his other to wrap around her. “Easy does it, Blake, those wounds look nasty.”

Madeline didn’t bother suppressing the excitement that lit up her eyes the moment Riley’s offer came to light. Her mouth practically watered with the idea of his blood against her tongue. The only times she’s had a taste of his blood were during the times that the two shared, alone, in the midst of their lustful temptations for one another. Never had he opted to offer himself willingly to her, and the thought of that alone caused her to grow hot with desire. She remained frozen against the barstool, tugging the hem of her skirt down lower with the thought of her legs feeling far more exposed than they had been just a few minutes prior. Her eyes followed his as he gradually slid out of his seat, catching onto the last bit of his comment. Snapping out of her reverie, the corners of her lips tugged into a devious grin as she followed his lead by slowly sliding off of her seat as well. “Well, we know you get when you’re feeling offended,” she taunted, following him towards the enclosed office space he was gesturing towards. Though their legs were moving, their eyes remained intact, which in turn caused her heart to inadvertently pick up its pace. God, why did he hold this effect over her? Her body grew numb with each step, even once they reached the room. As Riley raised his finger to flick on the light, Madeline quickly caught his hand in her grasp stopping him midway. “Leave it off,” she demanded, her eyes boring into his as she heard the click of the door lock behind him. Once his hands returned to his sides, she waited patiently for his cue as her eyes trailed from his handsome features and towards the skin of his neck. As she watched him expose more than enough of his neck for show, she felt her mouth water a second time. Screw you, Jordenus, she thought bitterly to herself, just as she found her body drawing closer towards his. With one last glance, she extracted her fangs from her gums as she latched them onto his neck, moaning with pleasure as the blood flowed effortlessly into her mouth.
Riley ran his tongue across his teeth as he watched her with complete focus. His eyes remained on hers and his lips curved up at how her own brightened up. The way she tugged on her skirt made him chuckle, but he never made a comment about it, he just made it clear by the look in his eyes that he not only knew how easily he could make an impact on her, but that he reveled in it too. Honestly though, who wouldn’t? She was hell in high heels, they both knew she was capable of driving him just as crazy as he was her. As he walked towards the office, he undone the top buttons on his shirt, giving her plenty of room to source her desire. Riley purposely stayed silent, adding to the suspense, he merely looked at her as his eyes clouded over with a dark lust - lowering his hand away from the light once she let go. That devilish smirk mixed with the darkness of the room fueled his own desire for her as he slipped his jacket off his shoulders and exposed his neck. He made her wait a couple more seconds as he looked her up and down, finally giving a small head nod for her to come closer. The vampire tilted his head to the side, parting his lips as he felt her fangs pierce his skin. His eyes closed as he felt her lips vibrate against the newly sensitive skin and his hands came down to ghost over the base of her spine, moving around to rest on her hips. He could feel his skin heating up as he relaxed into the painfully sweet feeling. In the back of his mind, he knew only she would ever get this close to him, to share blood was intense in itself, but more so because it was her he was sharing with. Once he felt her fangs retract, he hummed quietly, slowly turning his head to face her. Riley kept a hand on her hip and moved the other up to tuck a lock of hair behind her ear, smoothing the pads of his finger and thumb over her lobe as he did. The hint of a smirk was the only brief indication towards his next move as he quickly spun around, letting her back hit the wall as he dipped his head down to brush his lips against hers. He lingered for just a moment, brushing his nose against hers before connecting their lips in a heated throw of passion.
All the time || Riley + Ian
“A couple others but we’re all scattered about, you’ll either run into them or know they’re hiding out for a reason you know how it is. Have a couple known and have more in the shadows.” Things were strategic or they were messy, not that Killian really minded the messy, actually he preferred it. That much was evident when he and Madeline went off to have their own fun entirely unlinked to anything Strix related. “I’m sure keeping the attention of the girl is right up your alley. You know if you get anything that’ll help us out with anything it will be greatly appreciated by mum and dad.” He joked, laughing a bit before sighing with a twitch of his shoulders. “Someone’s got to make some conversation with Marcel, may as well do it myself. S’not like he can tear me apart himself. A chat never hurt anyone.” Killian grinned since Riley already knew a chat was never just that.
“Sounds about right” he hummed, wondering who else he would bump into here. He favored some members above the others, just on a personal level, so he already had hopes of bumping into certain faces. “Well I guess only time will tell, won’t it? Like you say, Marcel may not share anything with her.” Riley shrugged a shoulder, knowing not to be overly optimistic about gaining any information. A chuckle escaped him as he shook his head, just mentally trying to picture Ian of all people having a civilized conversation with the vampire leader. “Well.. nobody important anyway” he corrected, curving his lips up into a smirk. “Man, I gotta say I’m glad to see you here. Saves me from being stuck with a few knuckleheads on my own. I dread to think of who they’ve recruited since I left them. I’m still not over Doreen” he chuckled, giving off a fake shiver. “What a fucking spanner she turned out to be, eh? All the wrong kinds of weird.” Riley snorted as he recalled her.
Quickly recognizing the voice of his old comrade, Richie turned toward where the voice was coming from with a smirk. “I would say it’s a surprise to see you here,” he began as he pulled out the small pack of cigarettes and tossed him the object, “but the entire society is losing their shit.” Soon after, he tossed him a packet of matches as well. “It’s been too long, Riles.” The older vampire took a drag of the cigarette. “What have you been up to lately?”
“So I hear” he chuckled, sitting forward to light up his smoke. “I came here on my own but I knew it wouldn’t be long ‘till some of us joined the party.” Riley shrugged a shoulder, tilting his head up to blow out the smoke. It had been many years since the two had crossed paths, so seeing Richard was far from a disappointment. “Lately? Settling in here. Bought a club, laying low, you know?” Riley nodded. “What about you? It’s been a while since I’ve heard any horror stories with your trademark, not that I doubt you’ve been keeping yourself busy.”

Mimicking his own actions as her eyes snapped up to meet his gaze, her brow arched curiously as she drew herself backwards. Sweeping her eyes throughout every inch of his face, she took a few moments to herself to silently admire his attractive set of features before the corners of her lips tugged into a malicious smile. “Now we’re talking,” she hummed out mischievously, biting down gently against her bottom lip before silently cursing herself seconds later. It was just like Riley to bring out the lust in her, an emotion she had managed to keep locked away for as long as she could remember–a few centuries, as a matter of fact. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her gaze dropping towards her thighs as she did so. What was it about him that could easily cause her to surrender without hesitation? How was it that a single man could inherit a gift as catastrophic as the will to alter her body and mind? Madeline had always been hanging slightly off of her hinges over the past centuries, and she couldn’t help but notice how closer Riley seemed to draw himself towards her despite her mental health. It excited her even more, whether she cared to admit it or not. Snorting at his comment, she crossed her leg over the other as she shifted her weight to her side, tilting her head slightly as she did so. “Another would be nice,” she affirmed with a small head nod, her eyes never leaving his. “But not alcohol. Something…Thicker,” she murmured with the raise of her brows.
Riley smirked behind the ring of his glass, watching the drop in her gaze and taking it exactly for what it was. He wouldn’t even deny it if she asked, he loved that even after so long, he could still have an impact on her. It wasn’t one sided though, that much the two of them always knew. Unlike Madeline, Riley was never afraid to show his affection towards her, partially because of the sweet reactions he got from her when he did. Priceless. “Yeah?” he smiled, looking out at the crowd for someone she would like. Picking out a person to eat was much like picking out jewelry for her to wear - he only wanted the best. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much choice at the present moment, causing a mischievous smirk to play on his lips. “How about me?” Riley’s smirk only widened, knowing her fancy for vampire blood. “One time offer though, and only for you, but you know this already” he chuckled, moving from his seat as he gestured to the door towards his office. He knew the offer would tempt her at the very least -- blood-sharing wasn’t something he really did. Actually, it wasn’t something he ever did. He’d never even think about letting another vampire so close to his veins, which only served to prove he still thought her superior to everyone else. “If not you can eat the barman, I’m gonna fire him anyway, but I might be slightly offended if you take that option.”
Although the narcotic didn’t have the same effect on him as it did on mortals, or even younger vampires, Richie still found himself putting the cigarette between his lips. He took a long drag, noticing someone staring at him as he did. “If you’re going to tell me that this is killing me, don’t bother,” he told the person with a slight shrug of his shoulders. “But if you want a drag, that’s a whole different subject.”
With his legs kicked up on the bench, Riley was glancing around when he caught sight of an old familiar face. “Ah fucking hell” he muttered quietly, letting out a chuckle. “Look what the dogs have dragged in. Richy Rich 2.0.” Riley smirked, nodding his head to the seat opposite. “Don’t be stingy you old bastard, give me a full one” he grinned towards his old pal, moving his feet off the table. “Long time, Rich.”

Her lips stretched, displaying a wider grin. “The real reason? Okay here it goes… i’m actually a two thousand year old vengeance demon and someone you pissed off summoned me to take you down to hell with me. Kissing you kind of seals the deal.” She said, dropping her grin to sport a serious look. It only lasted a few seconds because soon her grin had returned along with a chuckle. “Okay. The truth? I think you’re cute… either that…or i’ve had one too many of those.” She said, narrowing her eyes over to the now empty glass in front of her.
“Too bad I’m the demons that demons run from then, huh? Hell’s my playground. Deal’s void” he smirked, picking up his drink to finish the last of it off. “Cute? Well handsome maybe, dashing even.. but cute? What do I look like a puppy?” Riley chuckled ,shaking his head in amusement. “Perhaps some water for your alcohol intolerance then?” he teased as he got up from his chair. “Thanks for entertaining me for a while, I might see you around?” Riley questioned as he placed the glass down and turned on his heal, heading towards the back with a smirk on his lips.

“Don’t worry,” he shook his head. “Nobody’s trying to track you down, it’s always entertaining catching wind of anything with your sort of trademark.” Killian told him silently listening to whatever Riley had planned with the girl. It sure was one angle to go about things, Killian wasn’t looking to get involved in such a way knowing the amount of effort it took take get a plan as such to work and continue on. He preferred getting the point of things, but this time around everything had to develop slowly so if Riley was going to have the girl in his pocket, the better it was for him. “Well I’m sure if anyone can handle her it’ll be you.” He stated thinking of how Marcel would take such news if it ever came out, which only made him chuckle out of amusement. “You need hers only if she’s worth the trouble, does she know anything going on within Marcel’s business? I don’t see him involving his children in things but I guess it’ll be up to you to find out such information.”
”Is anyone else here yet, besides you and Maddie?” he asked, wondering if they were giving orders from a distance, maybe until the time was right. “She’s a little tricky, but that’s nothing to worry about, I do like a little challenge.” Riley shrugged his shoulder. Ian had a point. It was possible Esther wouldn’t know a thing, but if he played his cards right, that wouldn’t matter at all. “I think even if she doesn’t she has connections. The recruits. I don’t know, the details are still blurry for now, I’ll figure them out after I’ve secured her on my side. I’m doing this off my own back so I’m not in any rush.” Riley hummed, tilting his head to crack his neck. “What’s your deal anyway? Gonna make yourself known?” he asked, though knowing Ian, the answer was already pretty obvious.

madelinecallaghan :
“Mhmm,” she hummed in response to his confession, eyeing him skeptically through the corner of her eyes but not bothering to touch on the subject any further. For as long as she knew him, she was well aware of the intentions behind each decision made on his behalf. Owning a club was certainly not done for his health, but she figured it would be brought to light when the time was right. At his subtle comment, she didn’t bother suppressing the annoyance from her expression despite it being the opposite of what she really felt. “Sounds like some things never change,” she quipped in a sing-song tone, finishing the last of her drink as she set it back against the napkin. In reality, Madeline had truly missed his presence since their time apart through the centuries–a thought that had never crossed her mind once, until now. Snorting under her breath once she caught the realization behind her words, she quickly snapped her gaze back to his once he mentioned her. Tugging the corner of her lips into a sarcastic grin, she leaned in towards him as her hands planted firmly against the table top, exposing more of her breasts than she had intended to under the club lighting. “Well then I take it these past centuries were just dreadfully dull for you, wasn’t it?” she teased, dragging her words as her eyes narrowed slightly while boring her gaze into his. She hated him for the effect that he held over her, but at the same time–it was exactly what she needed to feel alive.
“You’re right... some things never do” he half smiled, pressing his tongue against his inner gum as he continued to hold his gaze on her figure. He wouldn’t admit it, but seeing her gave him a certain kind of relief. Like he knew, while she was around, it didn’t matter what came in his path, she would be there on the other side. He always in a blissful awe of her, hostility and all, that was what he loved about her. Her ability to hide the truth to everyone but him and Ian. In different contexts of course. Ian knew practically everything about her as her brother - But Riley knew everything about her as a woman. It was one of his darkest but best kept secrets, something he wouldn’t change for anything. It wasn’t hard to adore her. In the miserable world they lived in, despite the pleasure and the chaos, there was always that gap right in the center of his soul that only she could fill. Madeline Callaghan - the baddest and best woman he had ever known. A smirk crawled on his lips as his eyes glanced down, but quickly moved back up to meet her eyes. “I wouldn’t say dull - but then again things are a little more cloudy when I don’t have you around. Not to worry though, you’re here with me now and if it’s not too big of an ask, I’m hoping you will join me in raising a little hell in the near future?” he shrugged, tilting his head to the side as he gave her a smirk that she hopefully would find hard to resist. “How is it that your psychical self doesn’t change, but every time I see you, you look more beautiful than the last?” Riley picked up his drink and lifted it up briefly in a soft gesture. He wasn’t trying to seduce her with his words, he just liked to give compliments when he felt they were due and with her, they always came so easy. “Another drink?”

ianxcallaghan :
Smiling he glanced around one last time before following Riley to the back without hesitation. “They sure do.” He agreed, having noticed what each of them were wearing partially from looking for one girl in particular but also just because they were all something to look at. Laughing he made himself comfortable in a seat. “Bang on, been a while since you marked your territory with a big bang to contribute to it. Quite disappointing if you ask me.” He was only half joking, leaning forward to grab ahold of the glass then leaned back in the chair once again. As Riley went on to tell him of his plans Ian’s brow rose, taking a sip of his drink. “You’ve got a date with the daughter of Klaus’ protege? Maybe I spoke too soon in my disappointment with you.” He smiled cocking his head to the side. “What plans do you have with the girl?”
Riley sipped his drink, chuckling in amusement at Ian’s comment, he shrugged his shoulder and swallowed, leaning back and letting out a soft sigh first. “I’ve been marking my territory just fine these past centuries, I’ve just been doing it off my own back. Our bosses either appreciated that I wanted to do my own thing or couldn’t track me down quick enough before I moved to the next place.” Riley placed his glass down. “I came here to throw myself into the middle of all the hell that will hopefully come forth” he added before looking towards Ian. “Mm, but she’s the Mayors daughter. I figure it may take some time but all I got is time, man. If I can get her to trust me maybe she will tell me some inside info. Worth a shot and hey, even if it it doesn’t work out, she’s quite fine so it won’t be the worst thing to happen.” Riley chuckled. “So far so good though, bro. She comes across quite opinionated but I can work with that. She seems to know what she wants so as long as I play the part...” he trailed off, knowing he didn’t need to finish the sentence. “And besides, if her pops happens to get involved at any point, I have this place. Vampire, sure... But just a simple club owner. Even if he somehow learns where I come from I’ve got three centuries of being on my own to use as a cover. Three hundred years I can use to say I’ve been walking the straight and narrow. It may complicated things but at the end of the day, I don’t need his trust - I just need hers.”

Rolling her eyes at his quip, she reverted her gaze away from him before nodding her head in acknowledgement towards the bartender once the glass was placed before her. Tearing her gaze away from his wasn’t enough to suppress her feelings, however–which was evidently displayed through the hint of a smile that ghosted over her lips at that moment. Catching onto the bartender’s words shared with her former lover, she immediately snapped her gaze back towards him as her brows came together in confusion. “Boss?” she questioned curiously, arching a single brow. “I must’ve joined the party a little too late in that case.” Taking a sip of her drink, she allowed the ice cold liquid to slither down her throat before setting the glass back atop its coaster. “Hmm…” she hummed, gently grazing her index around the rim of her glass. “Well…I’ve been a loyal member to my society. I’ve graciously accepted their assignments and tasks and have them completed within the hour. Plus, Killian and I get to travel the world. We’ve covered all of Europe and Asia these past decades, and a bit of South America as well. Once word had gotten out on the Original family…” she gradually found herself trailing her eyes off of the glass as they landed back on Riley’s, “–We were asked to come here. To this putrid town of drunks and oblivious residents.” The words left her lips, but she barely heard them. Having caught his gaze as he continued to stare intently at her, she could practically sense the goosebumps forming over her arms and neck as the sudden urge to draw herself closer to him began making itself known. Her voice grew softer, up until her eyes fell against his lips–only to snap it back up to his eyes once she caught realization of what she was doing. Clearing her throat as she straightened up her posture, the corner of her lips tugged into a smirk. “And I take it that your residency in town is for completely different reasons,” she presumed, grabbing a hold of her glass as she stole another longer sip from the liquid.
Riley tilted his head, clicking his neck to relieve the tension before giving her a soft nod. “Yeah.. this is my club” he shrugged, giving her a half smile as he looked around at the crowds. There was too many ears around for him to say much else, like the fact he only bought into this place to give himself a solid cover, making it easier for him to slip into things without raising any alarms. Though, if Maddie still knew him like she used to, he knew he wouldn’t need to explain anyway. Riley was sipping at his drink as his favorite redhead spoke, giving her his full attention, just as always. “Such a good girl” he chuckled teasingly, just poking fun in hopes to get some sort of playful rise out of her. He could tell by the way she was sat that her hostility was still just a front - just as it always was. “Gotta say, for the most part of the past three centuries I’ve been doing my own thing. Only doing the odd task given, but - obviously I’ve missed it or I wouldn’t be here in the city where it’s all going to go down” he smirked. “I just couldn’t resist. Originals, armies, wolves and witches and all kinds of crazies... This is just my kinda hellmouth, Mads.” Riley set a grin on his lips. “So, that should answer your question just perfectly - being a club owner is quite a delight, but it’s not why I’m here. Honestly I wasn’t really sure if the place would match up to my expectations but now I see you here and...” he paused, tilting his head as he gave her a dark, lusty expression. He took another moment to breathe her in, licking at his lower lip before snapping himself out of the moment he got lost in. “Well, I mean how could I ever be bored if you’re around?”

“Yeah?” She bit her bottom lip, watching him carefully. “These girls… you’ve been with sound so weak.” she said in an amused tone. “Trust. You’re talking to someone who knows the importance of time… Let’s hope you’re worth all this hype.” She beamed. “Ahh. We wouldn’t want to ruin that reputation of yours now would we. I mean i’m sure everyone here just saw the owner of this establishment walk up to me and how awful if I just left without doing this-” She whispered, leaning in a small space to brush her lips against his, slowly bringing her hand up his neck towards his hair line.
“Weak? Coming from a chick who’s just playin’ the position of a tease?” he smirked jokingly. With a soft chuckle in response to her words, he merely watched her expressions and when she leaned in to kiss him, he took a more dominant grip on her thighs, responding to her lips. She was a good kisser, he was almost impressed, but the feel of her lips wasn’t enough to satisfy, he wanted to taste her - in every way. “Well, before you so rudely stuck your lips o me, not that I’m complainin’ tho’, I was gonna tell you that nobody here actually gives a shit what I do or who I speak with, but I’m glad you interrupted first” he grinned against her lips before leaning his head back, wanting to get a better look at her. “Tell me, Leah... What’s the reason you just kissed me? I mean, you don’t strike me as the girl to do it because I own the club, or the type of girl to do it just to save my rep... So why?” he hummed lowly.
