Hear me out: DNAngel AU, where Adrien is able to turn into Chat Noir due to a family “curse” that begins after he reaches age 14, and can only transform when he has strong feelings of love (towards Ladybug) and Chat only transforms back when he has strong feelings of love (towards Marinette) and Marinette/Ladybug is in the same situation and theres just love square fun

What kills me most about the Bubbler episode is that Adrien went his entire birthday without knowing that Marinette—his Ladybug—literally sprang from her bed and twirled with glee because it was his birthday.

While he sat alone and miserable at home, the love of his life woke up and the first thing she did was say happy birthday to him.

His Ladybug spent the days leading up to his birthday making him a scarf with all of her love and care.

The girl of his dreams, who he believes does not return his feelings, walked around in her civilian life celebrating the simple fact that he was born.

And he doesn’t know. He doesn’t k n o w he doesn’t know.
