“Yes, It is definitely a stress reliever, especially boys lacrosse because you can just wack people with sticks.” She added on. “I feel you, especially around here. I get bored so easily so it’s a pain not to have something to do.”

Having her boyfriend around constantly was great for the most part, but there was one con…it meant that she was stuck at Silver Oak for the foreseeable future and had to force herself to interact with her fellow students. “What’s that?” Mackenzie questioned curiously, as she walked behind the person in the commons, looking over their shoulder.

“Just fixing my training schedule around cheer practice and school. I have to put in all the games we cheer at and practice times so I can fit my training around it. I’m taking a break from competitions just to get more focus on school and cheer. I rather enjoy my last year.”

“That’s a good point,” Mackenna matched her chuckle, moving her hair from in front of her face. “Me neither….it’s your senior year though, right? At least you have that going for you,”

“Yeah it is, but I’m still making up credits from last year. When i left for the Olympics I missed a lot of school so I’m doing a lot of home study to get a head.”

“I might join a sport, lacrosse maybe.” He said with a shrug.” It’ll just be a shitty year.”

“Lacrosse is fun. My brothers played back when they were in school. Getting involved with things you enjoy just make it go faster.”

“I mean, It’s a crappy job for someone trying to make a living, like maybe while in high school it’s okay.”

“I’m not sure yet, I probably will just be a security, but I may change my mind with time, we never know.”

“Join something. Make it a year to remember. It’s better when you have things to do and look forward too.”

“I’m honestly really excited for the summer to end, but I guess that may be because I’m not a student anymore.”

“Oh thats right! You are the security guard now. Are you going to college on top of that or no?”

“I wish summer never ends, i hate school too.”

“I just can’t deal with the stress, plus senior year and college? I’m not about that shit.”

“Pretty well, I got first. I got a nice medal and everything.” RIley smiled softly

“Really? That’s great! I’m a proud mama”

“Thanks Tris.” Riley smiled. “It was exciting. I’m sad school starts soon so It will be very busy”

“You and me both,” her hand was subconsciously running over her baby bump as she spoke with Riley. Something she found herself doing a lot more lately. “What if we…burn down the school? Then they’ll have to postpone school, right?”

“I mean, we would go to jail and then we wouldn’t have to go to school” she chuckled softly. “I just don’t want to deal with the stress.”
