The Scientist by Coldplay covered by me! Got my camera working again! Yay!
How To Save a Life by the Fray. Do enjoy!!
god! Love your voice!! <3 like seriously wow!! can we do a duet sometime?!
Haha thank you! And it's possible I'm sure. I have to work on getting a camera that won't burn out on me in the summer heat I get over here before I can really do much more with video posting.
Me trying out some musical theatre from the musical Sweeny Todd by Andrew Lloyd Webber (dunno if I spelled that right). This is the third reprise to the song Johanna, with me singing the part of Sweeny.
Good old country stuff! Why Don't We Just Dance by Josh Turner. Hope you like it!!
May have already heard this one too, but again, this one has video to it!! Awesome right? lol
I know you've already heard this one, but I want to post this here anyways. Enjoy!
Sorry for no updates!
For anyone who ever reads this stuff of mine (not sure how many do so find a way to let me know! I'd definately like to find out!), I haven't posted anything for a while and aside from the fact that I can be super lazy, unmotivated, and anything like that sometimes I don't have anything else to say about it. But I'm going to try to start posting more, starting with my uploaded youtube videos, over the next week or so, and hopefully I'll even start uploading more! So yay! lol This is me just giving a short update.
(And btw if anyone knows how to put in spoilers into posts so my stories I have posted and will post are collapsable so they're not so big that'd help tons!)
My recording of Ed Sheeran's the Ateam. Sorry bout the crappy quality of it... I don't have the best recording equipment out there :/
Forever Unforgotten
Sorry I haven't been posting. I wouldn't be posting this if I hadn't decided that maybe I need to post something again. A month or so is too long with no postings so here goes nothing. It's the story from Timed Tuesdays 2 when I was doing that (I know... went pretty well...), just changed it to make it longer for an assignment for my English class.

The ten year reunion party is one of the only chances one gets to see their old high school friends again, and Kim was more than looking forward to it. There really wasn’t a reason for her to though. She wasn’t anyone that people would have remembered, except for maybe two or three of the nerds, if they happened to show up.
Her high school life was a vastly glanced over thing, compared to the life of the sports players and cheerleaders. Bookworms weren’t anyone people really ever remember later on in life. Really the only reason she came back to this reunion is because of a boy who she had talked to occasionally, and even ten years later she hadn’t ever gotten over him.
They had never gotten together as a couple. After all, what would a football player want to do with probably the biggest bookworm in school? They had had some friendly chats now and then about the old great authors like Shakespeare. His love of literature like that was probably the reason she fell for him in the first place. She had heard though through the grapevine of high school girl gossip that he had a girl, and they were going to get married as soon as they graduated, and for the rest of her senior year she wished more than anything she could be that girl- captain of the cheer-leading squad as rumor had it. But school ended, and so did her dreams of ever being with him.
On the other side of the town, also getting ready for the same reunion was a man just almost thirty. He was waiting on his wife to finish with her hair. Even in high school it was a constant pain to wait on a woman who thought she had to be picture perfect because the had to set an example for her cheer leading squad, and help make the rest of the females in school jealous they weren’t them.
His wife was going so she could show off like she used to, and more than likely tote to all the women she had gone to school with that she had taken the football captain that every girl was to die for, even the book worms. He was going so he could meet up with his old football buddies, and talk about the glory days of high school when his team went undefeated for two years in a row. Also, and very very much a secret, he hoped to see a girl he had had small conversations with here and there whenever he happened to see her in the library reading Shakespeare.
He envied the way she could just melt away into a book, with the world inside the covers just swallowing her up, so she could forget the real world. In all his high school glory he had wished sometimes he could spare even ten minutes to sit and read a book, and melt away inside the words it contained instead of having to worry about his girlfriend going off with another guy, which was a constant issue. He had only asked her out in the first place because that was what was expected of him. All he wanted in the first place was a simple girl who wasn’t time consuming, and the girl in the library all those years ago in high school wouldn’t stop coming to his mind every now and then: her slender frame, with slight curves, the way her hair fell across her face whenever she sat and looked down at a book, and the cute way she would push up her glasses whenever he interrupted her. In the back of his mind, had he not been the captain of the football team, and playing the part, she would have been the girl for him. Kim. The girl who he wished he could have.
At her apartment Kim went to leave, and then stopped to sit. She convinced herself she needed a moment to collect herself before she went to see the one person she hadn't forgotten after so long, though deep down she new that if she sat for too long she wouldn't get the courage to get up and head to the reunion. 'Just one moment is all I need to get myself ready,' she told herself.
She looked at her senior yearbook on the coffee table in her living room, opened up to a picture of him in his letterman’s jacket, holding his football in front of the football team. In ten years, not one man had taken her mind off of him, not that there were many men who had tried. She wouldn’t let them. Even though she had never gotten to know him that well, he still left a large part of her heart wanting him. All the dances she had wished that somehow he would ask her to go with him. All of the dates she wish he would have asked her to. She wasn't sure if she could take it, 'But,' she thought to herself, 'I'll go anyway.'
She arrived at the reunion early, hoping to be one of the first people there, so she could watch everyone file in and so she could maybe recognize him before somehow he noticed her. After an hour he hadn't shown up, and she was starting to feel worried that she would never be able to see him at least this one more time.
'Finally we're here,' Thomas thought to himself as he and his wife walked into the school gym for the reunion, and instantly he saw that girl he had had a crush on so long ago in high school. The way she had been looking almost made it seem that she had been waiting for him. Especially with the smile and little wave she showed him before she disappeared into the crowd. Although he probably shouldn't have, he took this as a little game of hide and seek and spent the rest of the night secretly trying to find her, disguising this secret game with short conversations with old high school buddies that e used to hang out with ten years ago.
From her viewpoint just parely behind the risers in the gym Kim watched Thomas go from group to group, starting small conversations, but at the same time looking about everywhere, almost as if he was looking for someone. Her heart fluttered with the crazy idea that maybe she was the one he was looking for, but she quickly threw that thought out when his wife, that darned cheerleader from her high school days, grabbed him by the arm and led him to a group of women who had to be the gang of girls who used to make so much fun of her ten years ago.
After watching him for another few minutes, chatting with that group of women and his wife, she slowly found her way to the punch bowl, and went to grab the ladle for the punch when a hand stopped hers, and offered her a cup of punch. Looking up she gasped. Thomas stood there with two cups of punch in his hands, and he was offering one of them to her. Shakily she took it from him and took a small sip while he watched with a bemused gaze. “What's wrong? Didn't recognize me Kim?” he asked with a smile.
She put down her cup and readjusted her glasses. “Ummm... No... I did see you... I just didn't know if you remembered me...”
“How could I forget?! I think some of my favorite times in high school were the times I skipped class and we talked about Shakespeare! It was refreshing to know someone could understand how much of a brilliant author he was,” he said with a glazed expression on his face, as if he was reliving those short numbered days they had through high school.
“It was pretty fun, wasn't it,” she commented. Her heart was racing again. 'So maybe it was me he was looking for the whole time,' she thought to herself. 'And he remembered our conversations about all the old great playwrights!'
Looking at her again after all this time brought back so many memories that he wasn't sure how to react to them all. It seemed almost almost too good to be true that he was talking to her again. He wondered how she felt about this. From the way she was shaking a little bit it seemed that maybe she felt the same way about talking to him, and that made him feel a little bit better about his night.
“So did you ever get married to what's-her-face over there?” Kim asked. She immediately thought that maybe she was being a little bit rude, not remembering her name.
“Yeah. Just after we got out of college a couple years ago,” he replied, almost sad that he had to admit it.
“She seems like a great girl for you.” Kim almost choked on those words as they came out of her mouth. He didn't know how much she liked him still.
“Well it's okay. We do have our moments every now and again, but doesn't everyone?” he chuckled. “Well haven't you found anyone?”
“No,” she shamefully admitted. “I don't get out much, and I'm not that attractive of a person to be asked out or anything.”
Thomas wished he could tell her just how wrong she was. In any event they spent the rest of the night chatting with each other, and whne the reunion was coming to a close, he asked her if she needed a ride back to her place. She told him that she was fine, but he insisted that he was going to give her a ride anyways. He went and ofund his wife and told her that he was going to be giving an old friend of his a ride back home, and would be back soon to pick her up, and reluctantly she let him go.
The ride back to her place was as enjoyable as the night with Thomas had been. 'If only this could last forever,' she thought to herself. Thomas thought the same thing, though he never thought that she would admit it.
They got to her place not much later, and as she went to get out of his car, Thomas stopped her.
“Kim?” he asked her somewhat shyly.
“Yes?”
“I don't suppose you would ever believe something if I told you.”
“And what would that be?”
“Ever since high school I don't think I've ever forgotten about you, and with all my heart I wish I had done this sooner.” He leaned towards her slowly and she stopped. Her heart started racing again, and slowly she leaned in to him, and they kissed. It wasn't a long kiss, but for Kim it was just the perfect length. And if she had said anything about it, Thomas would have agreed.
They left each other's company as quietly as they had said hi. Just a small goodbye, a smile, and he pulled away. He wished he could leave his wife and stay with Kim, but he knew he wouldn't have the heart to do it. She wished the same thing, but she didn't think that she was worth it. Thomas knew that, and it hurt him even more not to.
She walked back into her apartment in a sort of a dreamy state. Shock left from the kiss she had always wanted from the man she loved. She would remember this night just as well as she would remember any time they had spent together in high school. 'But only if it could be more than just a memory,' she thought to herself as she closed the door to her apartment.
Turning back away from the door, she crossed to the couch and sat down once more, looking at his face on the yearbook. At the boy who took her heart, and now he knows it. The boy who she could never call hers.

Tips for watching a horror movie
Tips for watching a scary movie correctly: 1) NEVER forget your cuddle buddy Whether it's a stuffed animal, or your special someone, always have that person there with you to hide your face on whenever the moment arises. 2) NEVER clench your mouth Or bite your lip for comfort, or your thumb. If you get to a part where it gets jumpy, you could hurt yourself, and no one wants that. 3) ALWAYS bring a snack Call it comfort food in a troubling couple of hours of your life, but a little munchie now and then during a not-so-scary part of the movie will definitely build up your strength for the OMG parts that always want you to hug your cuddle buddy (#1) tightly 4) NEVER shout at the screen This movie was likely filmed up to at least a year before it went into THEATERS. The stupid girl trying to figure out who is making that noise after she has spent the whole night running from the same guy won't matter. She will ALWAYS walk through the door. And always keep in the back of your mind, that if you ever get yourself stuck in a horror movie-like scenario, remember: 1) Don't have sex as long as you are in the horror movie environment 2) Don't drink or do drugs 3) NEVER say, "I'll be right back."
An Overdramatization of My Last Math Test
That sheer moment of terror when you know you are going to fail that stupid math final is one of intense self-loathing, and it's one everyone has felt at least once. If you haven't, you're either lying, a robot, a nerd, or you are asian.
I went into class. It was my last class of the day, and the worst: math. I had thought I knew I was going to do pretty well, but as the test was handed to me, I realized that I was wrong. I mean, the first problem itself seemed like the kind of thing NASA hands out when THEY'RE stumped on a problem.
Anyways. I took a deep breath and went to work. I quickly found out that there was no way I could solve this, so I immediately delved into my inner-creative self. I knew I was going to fail, but I wanted to at least have my teacher suffer through the same misery trying to decode the mind boggling, scientific, made up jargon that I had to go through during the time it took me to fail this crummy test.
I started with the answer, as it seemed like the easiest thing to make, and it also left the inclination from the beginning that I failed, but the curiosity as to how I came up with it. From a science-fiction space movie I have seen, I knew that the ending variable HAD to be 42, which is the answer to life and the universe. Then I added random tid-bit numbers and symbols everywhere, with random mathematical signs in there as another means to keep the teacher on her toes, trying to think of what I was trying to work out. First problem is done.
I then moved on to a problem that was a three variable equation. I instantly thought of quite the problem for my teacher to figure out: the proof that girls are evil, as it is a three variable equation. Since I knew the answer to this problem, thank god, I set each of the equations equal to one of the equations in MY new equation, which went something like:
Girls = Time x Money
Time = Money
So as a logical conclusion (alright it was a two variable. I'm failing anyways):
Girls = Money x Money (or money^2)
Then I wrote about how money was the root of all evil (Money = square root of Evil), so Girls = ((square root of evil)^2). So I made my point that Girls = Evil. Second problem done.
The rest of the problems were easy. To make up. One I wrote E=MC^2, where I made MC=minecraft, that quite awesome game developed by Notch, and currently put kept up by Jeb.
I got to the last problem and it had quite the graphing equation. I at least TRIED to solve this one when it came to the numbers, but I had no idea what I was doing. I just wanted numbers on the paper so she would look at the main attraction: the graph.
The graphing grid I turned into a sort of a level you would see in the origional Mario game. That well-loved 2d scrolling game, with a layout I was trying to come up with on a new level I had been designing, with the music of the over-world, but more of the lower-world design and feel to it. Why not, seeing as how I was lost in a confusing land of numbers and letters at that present moment? I left off there, waited for other people to turn in their tests, then with an air of "I knew every single answer" on my face, I turned in her test. She's gonna be really suprised when she goes to grade MY test. I can't wait.
Blacker Than Night
A week off is enough for me. I couldn't think of a reason not to write anything today lol. A three day weekend approaches and I have free time, so why not?
-------------------------------------
The only reason I was there was because it was a dare. There was no reason why I would ever approach such a menacing construct. The staircase entrance was black. Just like it was the rest of the way down. After the first two or three stairs any vision of what was below was gone, swallowed by the dark, as if the blackness itself was alive. I really didn't want to go. No one has ever heard a story of anyone who had gone down those stairs that had come back up- no matter any reward that had been laid down. I was just a kid at the time, and my friends always pulled stuff like this before on me. Made me do stupid things for measly cash. None of it ever made me scared though. This was the first time I had ever had so much as a slight shiver down my spine, and in all honesty, I was scared to death.
I stood at the top of this endless staircase, as it was rumoured, barefoot as I didn't want to ruin my only pair of shoes going down stairs covered in who-knows-what. There was some intense heat, coming up in waves, as if it were breath from some great beast below. I took a great breath, as if it would be my last, and I took my first step.
Cold. Ice cold. Whatever I was now standing on, even in this intense heat, it was the coldest thing I had ever stood on. I didn't know what it felt like at the time, but now I know- it was as cold as death. Immediately I wanted to turn around and bolt back up the stairs, but I knew my friends would never let me live down being a wimp for not going down a set of stairs, so I took another big breath, and took another, careful, cautious step. The second stair was as cold as the first. The heat from below was just as intense as it had been one stair above, and I was getting more scared.
I heard my friends starting to whisper to themselves, and I knew they were going to call it off if I didn't make some more progress now. In the back of my head I knew I could live with being a wimp. If I lived with it, at least I'd be alive to tell about it. I quickly took three more steps down the staircase. The stairs were still cold, and the air was still blazing hot, but even five steps down I started to hear something- well it was a sound such that it was almost like I could FEEL it. A low vibration on the stairs, in the air, running through me. It turned on a switch in my head that somehow told me that if I went down any further, I wasn't going to be coming back up, no matter how fast I ran.
The pause I took in contemplation seemed long, but it couldn't have been such a dreadful amount of time. I didn't want to be called a wimp, I told myself, so I started down at a more steady pace. The further down I went the sound got more... tangible. The air got hotter, and the stairs seemed to get even colder. I was enveloped by darkness now, my feet guiding my way. The lower I got the more scared I became, until, just as quickly as I knew I was alive, I wasn't.
My friends waited for me for two hours, as they said they would. Then they left to tell everyone how I went down the staircase, and I never came back, just like everyone else. Now that I am dead, I shouldn't be scared of what killed me. I could go back to where it happened- the bottom of the staircase. I could see what got me without fear of death. Yet I refrain. I was dead. How could I die again? It defied logic, but somehow I knew. It was better not to test that theory.
Something Short For Something to Post
I haven't posted in a week or so, so I decided to sit my butt down and write something! So here goes... Imagination?

Lifts are always awkward places, and they ALWAYS contain the most awkward people. For instance, once I went on the lift, and there was a woman who wouldn't stop staring at me like there was something awful on my shirt, when it was perfectly fine! My purple polka-dot and heart shirt was COMPLETELY normal. And sometimes there are the people who have their headphones in with their music blaring, and they start to sing off key as if they were on stage at a Justin Beiber concert, trying to kill him with his own dose of 'music'. Yes. The lift holds strange people.
Once when I was on the lift though, going to the VERY top floor as usual, there was a woman who paid no mind to me. She was talking on her phone, acting all alone. The conversation was hard to make out, as I could only hear one side of it, but it had something to do with large round things... too many were ordered... the party won't be as fun any more because of Betty... And that's when it got interesting. The one sided conversation I was hearing started talking about how her husband wouldn't buy her the car she wanted, and how she oh-so-desperately-needed a new car because her current car wouldn't start all the time any more.
She made the comment that she was going to buy it with her own money. It 'only' cost $80,000, and she was oh so sure that she was going to be able to pay it all herself.
For the rest of the ride up the lift, since it appeared she was going to the same floor I was, I decided to join the one sided conversation, just to annoy her, since she had been annoying me.
"And the walls were an ugly green colour," she said into the phone.
I didn't want to start it out annoying, so I didn't say anything too loud at first. "I know right? And the floor was a disgusting yellow."
"Well of course it was. The woman was just obsessed with dandelions," she said, sort of making a slight glance in my direction.
"And that god-awful furniture! Who would buy REAL leather!! You know how they treat those poor animals!" I replied back. This conversation was working perfectly for once.
The woman was obviously aware at I was doing, but she pretended once more as if I wasn't at all in the lift. "Yes, that is something that is simply horrid!"
"Well let's talk about something different now. Something happy! Let's see... The Seahawks won another game!"
"Oh well. It's not like it's any better than it was before," the woman was starting to get more annoyed. We were almost at the top of the building anyways. She would be rid of me soon.
"But this time they've gone farther than they have in THIRTY years!" I replied, trying hard to not smile, and remain serious looking.
We got to the top of the building before I was able to hear any more of the conversation. As she went to step off, she turned, and glared at me and addressed me for the first time, "I don't appreciate behavior like that one bit! You wouldn't like it if I did that to you!"
As I turned away from her, to head in the opposite direction, I replied, "With an attitude like that, a woman like you wouldn't have the HUMOR to do to me what I did to you in the lift!"
The woman fumed and stormed off, once more speaking into her phone to her friend whom I do not know, and I, happy that I irritated a woman who deserved it, went my merry way, back to my place, and laughed to myself about the whole situation.
