excerpt from un’avventura straordinaria the book

Ok so this morning while browsing instagram in bed I came across this excerpt from the book, and I understood it straight away and just thought that it was so beautiful and a great little excerpt to translate!  I convinced myself that this is also a form of study for my italian exam coming up so I don’t feel guilty about being a fangirl for once. Yay! No but seriously, it is actually fun translating text so that it make sense in english so if anyone has any il volo related text they want me to translate (or attempt to translate) just inbox me. Anyway, enough talk. Below is the translation-also thanks to the person who posted it to her account :) Definitely going to buy the book!

But if you think about how far we have come. We didn’t even know each other and now it has been six years that we have worked together, celebrated together and cried together.

By now Gianluca and Ignazio (but let’s not let them know) are apart of me, I do not know how I would continue to go on without them.

I want you all to understand something: when I am on the stage to sing my solo, as soon as I finish I can’t wait until the other two arrive on stage because I feel their moral support both mentally and physically. If I feel ill I know that the two of them can help me. We can help each other to conquer all and this is essential for me, to feel the mutual support because we are, the three three of us, always together.
