A selection of colourful pages and the final piece from my 2018 A-level exam project on insects! 🐞🐛🦋
If I were to do the project again, I would give more love to my other chosen artist, Emile-Allain Séguy (1877 - 1951). His pochoir insects are just gorgeous!! Unfortunately, at the time, I did confuse him with the entomologist Eugene Séguy (1890 - 1985); my sincerest apologies, Monsieur (E. A.) Séguy!
My favourite thing to come out of this project was the huge sustained piece (two beetles crossed over, second image), which sadly I cannot find. May it crawl out of its hiding place soon…
