The Crown Jewels of Narnia: Edmund & Lucy

The Disney Crown Jewels Exhibit is in Texas. This extravigant event is featured at the Arlington Museum of Art. For this series of articles, the Narnian Crown Jewels will be presented. The second set of crowns belongs to King Peter and Queen Susan. Source: FictionLover007 on Reddit.

King Edmund

Since Edmund is the youngest Son of Adam, he is next in line to become the High King of Narnia. Due to this, his crown is made of silver. Being a male, Edmund's headdress is also the second largest of all his siblings' crown jewels. This size characteristic is a royal tradition to set males and females apart regardless of rank. As a true king of Narnia, Edmund's headpiece incorporates Narnian symbols into its design. His crown features birch leaves. This means protection, rebirth, and change.

Queen Lucy

Lucy is the youngest Daughter of Eve. This makes her tiara silver as the next in line to become high queen. Being a female, Lucy's headdress is supposed to be smaller than her two king brothers. However, despite being the youngest reigning monarch, her headpiece is larger than her older sister's tiara. It's unknown as to why Lucy has the third largest crown jewel. Although queens have historically been known to wear crowns for ceremonies (for example, being officially crowned queen) and tiaras for special events, the two queens weren't given proper crowns. Instead, Lucy and her sister were crowned with tiaras during their coronation ceremony. As a true queen of Narnia, her tiara incorporates Narnian symbols into its design. It features laurel leaves interspersed with yarrow and laurel flowers. The laurel plant means victory and royalty. Finally, the yarrow flowers represent healing, courage, and love.

Yui as a Demon

In this franchise, Yui is fated to become the next Queen of Demons. As the only way to claim the Demon Lord's throne, any of the thirteen males in the games can become her chosen lover. Through Yui's love, the chosen partner will gain Karlheinz's power and become the next heir. However, her destiny will cause her demonic race (half first-blood/half vibora) to change as a result of having her blood repeatedly sucked by her lover. This will occur even if it's never shown in-game. In fact, throughout the games, there are some routes where it's shown that she has been turned into a vampire in certain endings. Other times, it's heavily implied. This happens if Yui chooses a Sakamaki or Mukami. Then, she'll become the Queen of Demons and the Queen of Vampires. Otherwise, Yui will become a full First Blood in the Tuskinami routes as the Ancestors' Queen and Queen of Demons. The only time her race doesn't change is in Kino's Route. But Yui still becomes the Queen of Demons and the Queen of Ghouls.

Depending on the route, Yui will feel guilt for throwing her mortality away and accepts any "punishment" thrown her way as repentance. This is ironic because she's never been completely human since she was a baby. However, in one route, Yui ignores having ever been human. She groups herself with the other demons by saying how humans are weak and emotional beings, unlike them as vampires. In most routes, Yui will adjust well to her new life despite her past. Oftentimes, she'll retain her humanity and sanity in these routes.
