This post is very obviously targeted at me since I’m the only dude who fandomtags my pornographic art. Usually I like to poke fun at @/runic-helmet and make fun of her ridiculous nazi bullshit, but this time I want to get serious. Insanely serious.
I need all of you to listen to me right now.
This is the mindset that the nazis used to spread homophobia, transphobia, and puritanism. Runic-helmet says she cares, but this is just another one of her nazi talking points. I’m so serious right now, I’m not kidding around.
Let’s start this discussion with a little history lesson. In 1933, before the nazis rose to power in Germany, homosexuality in Germany was banned. Luckily, even though it was banned, Germany didn’t really actively enforce it. Prosecutions were relatively rare, and the country actually had a thriving and lively queer culture. Especially in the 1920s, many gay and lesbian bars were open and welcoming to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer Germans.
When the nazis started gaining power, they viewed homosexuality and transgender/sexualism as “non-conformist” and wrong. The nazis had a very puritanical view of sex, romance, and gender. They used this puritanical rhetoric as a moral weapon to convince German citizens that queer people were the enemy and that they were a threat to “traditional family values.” They also spread lies that queer people were pedophiles, and were grooming aryan children into homosexuality.
The nazis started with the closing of queer bars and the cancellation of LGBTQIA+ magazines and papers. Gay men were arrested, and in 1935 the nazis extended their punishment from 6 months to 5 years. By the time nazi concentration camps were fully set up and full of innocents, around 15,000 gay people, specifically gay men and transgender women, were in those camps. These people were marked with the pink triangle. This is why older queers tend to use it as a sign of resistance, as a way of honoring those who were murdered and abused by taking back and reclaiming the pink triangle and being unapologetically queer.

Good question. There’s a reason I emphasized Runic-helmet’s puritanical thoughts. Remember when I said that the nazis cancelled magazines and papers? Those publications were mostly pornography, queer pornography. The nazis banned them on account of sexual deviance. Now let’s look closer at the things that Runic-helmet is saying.
She is using the exact propaganda the nazis spread to convince you, younger Punch Out!! fans, to agree with her ideology. Let’s dissect this.
The first paragraph is bullshit, and not related at all to this response. This is the self-pitying garbage thats expected from her. I do not care about this part, what matters is the underlined phrases. I color-coded it so we can understand it better.
Let’s start with the red — The idea that pornography is “grooming.” This is a classic puritanical worldview that many rightwingers spout. This needs barely any explanation because of how obvious it is. She’s being a puritan.
Now the blue — These lines cement the fact that she is absolutely talking about gay porn. The boxers are all men. This needs zero explanation as long as you look between the lines.
And green, the most harmful bullshit she’s spreading — The idea that homosexuality is something wrong and disgusting. If you have a brain, you can clearly tell she is absolutely talking about gay people. The way she talks is exactly like how the nazis described gay people in the 1930s. The fact she describes people who draw gay pornography as “bad weeds” and “corrupt” is insane and blatant homophobia.
If you are 15 or younger, I need you to listen to me very carefully right now. Let’s turn our listening ears on, one two three all eyes on me. If you do not like/do not want to see pornography on the internet, that is understandable. I do not blame you nor do I think you’re a puritan. If you find porn gross and yucky, that is okay and is actually very normal for a kid your age! I don’t think you’re a bad person for being yucked out by dicks and boobies. But you cannot expect grown adults, especially queer adults, to stop creating and posting porn. It is made for adults, not you, and you have no say over it.
Runic-helmet is trying to convince you, specifically you(a child), to turn over to the side of puritanism and eventually the side of homophobia. Because that is always what puritanism leads to. It goes from anti-porn -> anti-kink -> anti-sex -> straight up homophobia. She is trying to coax you over to becoming homophobic by pulling at your morals and your personal distaste for nsfw.
This is why I’m making this post. Not to inform her, she knows exactly what she’s doing, but so that kids in this fandom do not fall down the puritan rabbit hole. Please, please do not listen to her when she says she cares about you. She does not, she only cares about spreading her nazi agenda and creating little fascist internet soldiers to attack homosexual people in this fandom. If anything, she is trying to groom you into her ideology. Do not fall for it. Make your own opinions, block nsfw accounts if you want, and stay vigilant around her. She cannot be trusted in the slightest.
