DATES FOR COLOMBIA 2017 TRIP

FEB 21st - FEB. 28th 2017. We will arrive and depart out of Medellin, Colombia and but you will need to book a separate flight for the trip to Barranquilla from Medellin. The Deposit paid will only go towards your Hotel Accommodations. All information to follow soon. It’s better to book the flights as soon as possible. I will post and example of flights as they are cheap right now.

FAQ’s – COLOMBIA 2017

1. What are the dates? Feb 21, 2017 – Feb. 28, 2017. Most flights leave out on the 21st and arrive the next morning for South America. (at least from what I have seen)

2. Where will we be staying? I will be booking 4 rooms (arriving on Feb. 22); all with 2 Beds in Medellin and Barranquilla. Pricing will follow soon along with details. We will be staying a total of 6 Nights. · Medellin for 2 nights…2/22 – 2/24. · Barranquilla for 3 nights…2/24 – 2/27 · Medellin for 1 night… 2/27 - 2/28

3. Deposit? Yes there is a deposit due of 100.00 by 06/15/16. This will go towards your accommodations. This will guarantee you a hotel room on this trip.

4. When to book the flight? You are solely responsible for your flight. My advice is to book the flight as soon as possible because just like hotels, airlines will figure out this is a popular time of the year and start to price gauge. · From DC & CLT its about $550.00 and the flight from Medellin to Barranquilla is only $220.00

5. How many people are going? For now I only have 4 rooms, so that 8 people…as I don’t want this to get out of control.

6. What else will we do while we are there? I will focus on trying to have options in both cities with things to do, places to go, adventures to conquer and figure out the price for transportation.

7. Flight Bookings – is expedia cheaper? Well, originally I did expedia, but when I went to book the flight, I got an error that the rate was not available, so I went to the actual airlines website and booked for the cheaper price that was originally on expedia.

8. What cities will we visit? Medellin (Airport code: MDE), Barranquilla (Airport code: BAR), and Cartagena. · How will we get to Cartegena? I’m working on that…..possibly bus or train depending on the best way to avoid long wait lines.

9. Who is going? On this trip everyone is at least 25+, so no kiddies. Most are over 30. 10. Who are you responsible for? YOU! And only you as we are all adults. Please understand that everyone is grown. No babysitting allowed on this trip. I will not tell you what you should and should not do. I am going to have fun, but please understand that I’m not going to jail, or killing nobody in a 3 world country…..specially not being fully bi-lingual. JUST SAYING!!! Lets Enjoy this fellas!!!

10. PLEASE GET A PASSPORT!!!!!! You will need one!!!
