Don't forget it's still free Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Yemen, West Papua, Tigray, Haiti, Burma/Myanmar, Uyghurs, Syria, Kashmir, Cameroon, Armenia and Kurdistan.
Regardless of who you are or where you come from, if you do not feel outrage, anguish, and grief for these innocent lives lost, something is amiss, and you must consider why you lack the drive to take action.
Their fight should be considered our fight, as it is one for human rights.
here’s to a liberated palestine and an end to the occupation in 2024، إن شاء الله
trying to get through this week has been so difficult—my heart is literally aching thinking about the devastating state of gaza right now. the number of innocent civilians who’s lost their entire family over night, the children whom barely managed to survive these attacks having to find out their parents are no more—just take a moment to really think about all the damage. it’s so infuriating having to see people still standing with the oppressors, because to support these wicked atrocities they’re committing is not human anymore. no matter how you look at this, it’s obvious this is genocide and this is ethnic cleansing. every update we’re receiving regarding the situation is making me feel sick to the stomach. i’ve been crying sm because my heart hurts not being able to do anything other than praying for them. seeing people still standing with the oppressors are making me lose hope in humanity—but i’ll never lose hope for palestine because no army, no amount of soldiers, no nuclear weapons will help the oppressors win over palestine. countries with power may stand with them today, but from the river to the sea, there will come a day where palestine will be free.
i am begging you all not to stay off social media this weekend. i’m seeing so many white people say shit like “protect your peace” but there are ways to do that that don’t involve turning your back on active genocide.
if you have a support system, use it. talk about your feelings instead of burying them and pretending nothing is happening. if you don’t have people to talk to, journal about it. identify what you’re feeling, allow yourself to feel it, put words to it. use whatever community you have. regulate, don’t ignore. turning your back on Palestine needs to be a last fucking resort.
this is not meant to guilt you and i’m not saying you’re a bad person if you need to step away to keep yourself safe. this is heavy shit for all of us. what i am saying is that there is a massive amount of privilege in being able to simply shut off your phone and do something else, and it is extremely easy to take advantage of that privilege. there are steps you can take before closing your eyes to what’s happening.
sorry but as non-palestinians, it's just not your place to lose hope or faith when palestinians resistance persists with unshakable and unparalleled love for their land and this life. solidarity requires sustaining hope against every odd.
yes, do question how you will reconcile with the world as you know it. it should be crystal clear: nothing in your life is worth keeping if it's at the expense of expressing whole and unwavering solidarity with them. may our faith with the resistance exceed our meaningless fears. 🇵🇸🫶🏻
feeling sick looking up palestine and the first headlines being “israel-hamas war.” this is not a war. this is a genocide. israel is slaughtering palestinians. and calling it anything other than a genocide is disgraceful.

i pray that aug, sep, oct, nov and dec are all months full of growth, blessings, productivity, new doors open and opportunities
do you think it'll all be okay?
yeah. even if it won’t i’ve got people to love in the meantime
disabled people deserve more than the bare minimum to live tbh. and i don't mean in the "oh we have extra costs that makes being disabled more expensive" - which is true, but i'm counting those in the budget to live. disabled people also deserve enough money to buy treats, nice clothes, fund their hobbies, take a trip away, and so on. being disabled shouldn't force you into a life of frugality and poverty

the way the orchestra all turned to her at the end just before it cut off, smiling and about to applaud her 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Halle is so freaking amazing. She definitely needs to step into broadway. I’d pay so much to see and hear her sing live.
