I’m honestly so heartbroken over hearing that Rise has been canceled. For one of the first times ever in tv, I have found characters that I can relate to on deep personal levels. The way that Rise depicts its characters in such a realistic way has nearly brought me to tears on multiple occasions. This show is so important for everyone to see, and I simply cannot believe that it got cancelled. So please everyone, I’m begging you, try to do something about it. If we’ve learned anything from Rise, it’s that we shouldn’t be afraid to use our voices to stand up for what we care about. So please, call/message Netflix,Hulu, or any other stations that will pick the show up. Watch the season finale and live tweet @ nbc during it. Write a letter to the NBC headquarters, anything helps. We can’t just let this masterpiece go to waste.

I think the most unrealistic thing about rise for me is the fact that Lilette wears a beanie in school?! Like wtf my school dress code woulda had that snatched off your head in a heartbeat

I feel like we don’t talk enough about the fact that Jeremy signed up for the play after the cast list was initially out. And I heavily believe that one of the reasons he auditioned for the role of Ernst was just so he would have an excuse to make out with his crush.
