⏳ @erin and Eli please!
Erin fussed with the ends of his shirt, biting his lip before speaking.
“Dad…had a big herd, o-other than mom and me…lots of does - he was strong but…the other does…they didn’t like mom and so th-they didn’t like me much, either. Mom was dad’s favorite, they said, but she was d-different, somehow. They used to en-encourage my brothers to pick on me when dad wasn’t around…”
Elijah looked just as unenthusiastic about describing his past, if not more so. A scowl laid across his face, before he bothered with his story.
“I’m the youngest of six kids. The only boy. It’s considered really important, in my family, when a boy is born, so I was treated differently from my sisters. I wasn’t allowed to go to school because my family was afraid something would happen to me. The first time I tried to reach out to talk to kids my own age, mother hit me and I got locked in my room for a week.”
For every “⏳” I receive, my muse will openly talk about a bit of their backstory.
Send “You’re Mine” for my muse’s reaction to yours being possessive of them.

Hey Tumblr, I hate your app. I saved pre-cut drafts specifically so I can post on mobile, so maybe actually post them when I finish?

It was a long travel, but Erin didn't mind it. Being outside of the city, in the nearby forest, was a comfort of its own, and allowed the young buck a chance to relax. The rest of the wolf pack was always nearby, so he didn't bother to be as alert as usual. Rather, he let the week's worries sort of fade away instead.
So this day was no different, as he scouted the forest trees. Gathering fruits and herbs, drinking water fresh from the stream. It was a different world out here, and he had to admit that he often missed it. But he was far away from his homelands, and this part of the world worked much differently than what he was accustomed to. He had to learn to work and provide for himself in ways his father never taught him. It was strange.
Ah well. It was best not to dwell on it. Rather, Erin was much more interested in getting at one of the fruits in the tree before him. If he could only just reach it...
dangerous-times:
He’s handled these cases before, but often enough the Pack had it handled, with their obvious superior strength. However, Chris always wanted to prove he was a valid member, which meant he sometimes put himself too far in the firing line. Thankfully, he never had any serious cases, but perhaps this one would be different.
A sudden buzz in his pocket jolted him out from his inspecting stare of the dance floor, and he swiftly pulled out his phone to glance at the message.
“Oh fuck.”
It was Erin. He’d heard of his occurring issues happening to the dancers, and this was the first time he had been the closest to the scene, so he didn’t hesitate to bolt it through the bustling crowds towards the incident. It wasn’t long till Chris was behind the looming figure upon Erin, and he wasted little time with introductions as he gave a sharp bark of an order to the drunken customers,
“OI! Lay off ‘im mate, an’ get out!” Chris jerked his thumb over his shoulder, signalling the door, until he quickly glanced over Erin to see if he was fine, even going so far as giving him a kind smile in this toxic situation. The customer did spin round, and Chris realized how large of a customer he was handling, easily a few feet higher, but thankfully they were drunk - Still an unpredictable danger, but slower, and dumber.
The customer sneered towards Chris, and he slowly ambled forth, bottle in hand, with his hand outstretched, likely an attempt to grasp Chris’ shoulder,
“Like hell am I listening to you, you fuck, I paid for this boy, and I’m getting what I paid fo-”
Thump.
It wasn’t hard at all. He’d been training with Bambi to improve himself physically, and all he needed now was a simple grasp of the man’s outreached wrist and arm, a good stance and a sharp twist of his hips - Voila, a fallen drunk!
So this is what it looks like to be me, god, I must’ve looked awful.
Soon enough, a couple of the pack were on scene after seeing the scuffle, and Chris explained the situation, which resulted in the customer’s swift removal from the premises. Now, with the situation cleared, Chris returned his attention back towards Erin, and approached him slowly, a warm look given to him alongside an outstretched hand, “Y’all fine there, Erin?”
He'd seen Chris from time to time, even greeting him in passing. Even so, he wasn't usually nearby during these events, and admittedly the buck was initially expecting one of the wolves. Especially so given the drunkard's towering figure, and for a moment, even Erin wondered if Chris would be able to handle the problem on his own.
However, he was more than happy to be proven wrong. He was startled when the man crashed to the ground, but a giddy relief flooded Erin, and instead of running off like he normally would, the buck actually managed to stick close by. He felt safe enough to stick around a few moments longer, at least to talk to Chris.
"I'll be al-alright," he stammered, taking the offered hand and sidling a bit closer. Okay, so he wasn't entirely fearless just yet. Being close to someone who could brush off anyone else was much more comforting, at least. "Thank you...can you t-take me to my room, please?"

Erin liked the dancing portion of the club. It wasn't much different than the celebration dances he did back home, albeit a bit more physical with other people at times. He didn't even mind the stripping - if he was being honest, clothing was strange where he came from, and more like decoration than necessity. So he couldn't say the major portion of his job was bad in any way, and he rather enjoyed it, even.
But there was the rare moment where things got out of hand. It was bound to happen in their business now and then, which was why there was so much precaution with security. Bouncers lining the walls of the club, cameras, and so on. The dancers were given full permission to deny servicing a customer if they felt uncomfortable, and could easily ask an incubus or a succubus to replace them if need be.
But now and then, there was an outlier, a drunkard who wouldn't listen to a firm "No" even when a dancer wore a collar dictating they were front-facing only dancers. It was an unfortunate thing that Erin had come to expect, as many took his timid demeanor off the dance floor to be either a sign of weakness or some form of flirting. Not that he much understood the latter, but even so, he'd been gifted a special bracelet due to the frequency of these incidents, which would call the closest bouncer to his location. And this evening, Erin was pressing it again and again, as he cowered from the towering form of the latest customer daring to take more than he was permitted, and the buck just hoped for it to be over.
