You know the statistic that 1 in 3 women have been raped but in truth I don’t know a single woman who doesn’t have at least one story. A story about a guy who went too far or tried but wasn’t able to complete. Most if not all of us have that story that we don’t think is bad enough to call rape, wouldn’t make us answer yes to the question “have you ever been raped” but we know something was wrong. We know that a violation occurred. I think that says more than the one in three. There is not just an epidemic of violence against women it’s a full blown pandemic and it’s the disease no one in power is willing to address.
