River walked into the police station, shirtless, as he looked around for his bombshell. After a few minutes he shrugged and took his pants off leaving him only in his boxers.

River smiled brightly when he looked up at Matilda. “It’s hot in here, you should really get that checked out... or well, they could put you outside, your radiance being absent from this place would cause it to drop a few dozen degrees.”

“My aura?? Is that a good thing?” Mattie asked. “Never been told that before.”
“That’s because your aura is very hidden. No one has looked deep enough. And yes, your aura is a great thing.”

River nodded and without another word sat down on the floor and began to meditate. “You know... you’re aura is beautiful. Like a nice colour.”

“You would do that?” Mattie asked with a smile. “If you’d like, sure.”
River shrugged. “If you wouldn’t mind, I have nothing else to do today.”

Mattie looked at her wrist and checked her watch. “I get off work in a couple of hours. Let me give you my number? If you’d like to meet? Later?”
River shrugged. “I don’t have my phone with me today I’m afraid, but I can sit here and wait if you don’t mind?”

Matilda’s heart seemed to skip a beat. “Pleasure to meet you, River, like the water.” She smiled broadly at him.
River let go of her hand softly and backed away before bowing. “When do you get off Matilda?”

Mattie blushed, and shook the the man’s hand. “I’m Matilda… Mattie, by the way.”
River smiled .”I’m River, like the water. It’s nice to meet you Matilda.” He leaned his head down and turned their hands so he could kiss hers. “It’s my sincerest pleasure to meet you.”

As an officer of the law…. I can’t really say yes. I mean, while I’m in uniform. Perhaps a bit later?
River smirked as he held out his hand. “See you soon m’lady.”
