"Closeness" watercolor, acrylic on paper.
i do believe there is something magical and cosmic about love. even heartbreak after heartbreak, i think thats what makes it even more fun. that space between you and them, the closeness. like two magnets either repelling or snapping together. i live for that shit.
"North Star" watercolor, acrylic gouache on paper. (2025)
i'm not sure why i always paint the four-pointed star. it soothes me to paint it. i use it when i feel i need to represent magic or the esoteric. i also see it as a symbol of christ or a guiding light. it's meaning is of direction, and i consider like my north star. i guess i do know.
"Portal" watercolor, acrylic gouache on paper. (2025)
when i was a kid all i knew was san diego was much nicer and greener. i still struggle with where i spawned and why. i never liked tijuana. theres no "but i love it now". it just is.
