For some reason this short little scene in My Own Private River is one of my faves, Mike searching for his mother with his newly-acquired baby photo of him & Sharon – such child-like earnestness and hope conveyed by River, simply adorable, I want to squeeze Mike tight and tell him it’s going to be ok (and as is the case in most of MOPR, Keanu just stands by watching River’s master class in oddball comic timing and off-the-charts charisma :-P ).
