The reasons behind Destiel.

Here’s my tiny little meta about Castiel and Dean and WHY they are attracted to one another… just because.

Dean is a manly man because he’s a bamf. He wants to be the person in the room that intimidates everyone. He wants heads to turn his way. And they do.

Until Castiel.

Castiel is strong, powerful, stoic, like nothing Dean has ever seen before, and Dean is intimidated by him when they first meet. Cas makes Dean feel small and vulnerable, and that’s new to him. He’s attracted to the power.

Castiel, on the other hand, is attracted to Dean’s humanity, something he initially lacks.

 As the two become closer, Cas develops his own sense of humanity and Dean feeds off of Castiel’s strength. Together they have the best of both. The results? Well..
