cassie had been extremely anxious, she knew this day was going to come at some point - but since she and justin hadn’t really talked as much in a while, she never expected it to be anytime soon. hearing the knock on her door, she took a deep breath. his reaction wasn’t going to be good, that was for sure. every possible scene played out in her head of how this was going to go down, and all of them ended up pretty bad. she walked over to the door, opening it and stepping aside to let him in. “hey,” she said with her lips curved into a small smile.

justin wasn’t sure what to expect from this little visit. he wasn’t sure if she called him to hang out for a bit or for something else. but justin was never known to turn her down. “hey.” he replied back, smiling back at the girl. he wasn’t exactly sure how this was going to go down, if it was going to be awkward or if they’d sit and talk for hours. “what’s up?” justin asked, walking into her room as she stepped aside for him.

it had been a while since justin had seen cassie. he’s been on tour for god knows how long and anything before then, they never really spoke because of what happened between selena and himself. but justin was never one too turn down a good reunion, regardless of their history. so when cassie told him to come over, he agreed with no hesitation. justin got out of his room, wearing a hoodie, baseball cap and a pair of jeans he had been wearing for the past two days ( if they didn’t smell or had any stains, it was more then acceptable too him ). justin then walked over to cassie’s door, lightly knocking on it so she’d hear him.

“Remind me to never agree to babysit for my brother’s friends again, I’ve lost both of their kids at least once and I’m about to pull my hair out. Please tell me that not all kids are like this, because I would still like to be a mother one day – just not to these ones,” she said as she swayed back and forth with a baby laying in her arms.

“Honestly, everyone loses children. Those things are like fuckin’ ninjas, they’re with you one second then across the pacific ocean the next. I feel like all kids are like that but they just end up growing out of it — i hope.”
