cassie closed the door once he had gotten inside, looking over at him. “sorry to bother you, but i kind of have to tell you something really important. more like have to, but i’d prefer if you sat down first.” she was becoming more nervous that she felt as though at any moment she would begin rambling on. “i don’t know how you’re gonna take it, but all i ask is that you think about it before reacting. then maybe just kind of think about what i had to deal with - not saying that excuses anything, but still. okay ?”

Ariana hated being sick. It was the worst feeling in the world to have the flu. She’d been in her room for the last couple of days, but today was definitely the worst. She’d just stopped throwing up when she heard a knock at her door and she groaned, pushing her hair out her face as she walked out of her bathroom. “Come in…” she called out, curling back under her covers.

“shit, are we all sick ?” she said as she saw the sight of the girl who had just freshly thrown up. “we’ve got it pretty bad.” even though cassie didn’t have the flu, she was feeling pretty shitty and to her, vomiting was just as bad as feeling like your lungs are giving up. “do you need anything ?”

it had been a while since justin had seen cassie. he’s been on tour for god knows how long and anything before then, they never really spoke because of what happened between selena and himself. but justin was never one too turn down a good reunion, regardless of their history. so when cassie told him to come over, he agreed with no hesitation. justin got out of his room, wearing a hoodie, baseball cap and a pair of jeans he had been wearing for the past two days ( if they didn’t smell or had any stains, it was more then acceptable too him ). justin then walked over to cassie’s door, lightly knocking on it so she’d hear him.

cassie had been extremely anxious, she knew this day was going to come at some point - but since she and justin hadn’t really talked as much in a while, she never expected it to be anytime soon. hearing the knock on her door, she took a deep breath. his reaction wasn’t going to be good, that was for sure. every possible scene played out in her head of how this was going to go down, and all of them ended up pretty bad. she walked over to the door, opening it and stepping aside to let him in. “hey,” she said with her lips curved into a small smile.
