Guess who has two thumbs and got shadowbanned?! Probably, like, years ago and I just realized it now because I legit am so dumb that I didn't think that was actually a thing on Tumblr.

So, since this account is shadow banned, I made a different account and, because it's a sub-account, I have to remember to manually change which account I'm posting to. lol

And even though I'm shadow banned, I always forget that means that there's no way I'm going to "flood" a hashtag with multiple of the same posts, so whenever I do this I delete the @rlnerdgirl version and then just post to @owiil 😅🤣😂

Your posts not showing up in the Tumblr tags?

I’ve occasionally had this issue, and most ‘guides’ by the staff are completely unhelpful in fixing the issue. But, through some painful trial and error, I think I’ve figured out a possible solution/fix to the problem;

For some reason, Tumblr won’t show my post if it has a random innocuous word in it, or a tag that it otherwise is completely fine with. So if your post isn’t showing in the tags, trying messing around a bit by deleting almost all of your tags, removing any words that could be deemed even remotely problematic (like if you’re in Kindergarten or something) and see if it appears then! So far, this has helped me with just about all of my posts not showing up in the tags!

Likewise, sometimes Tumblr won’t combine tags; For example, I might type down Amphibia Anne in the search bar, because I want to see the character from the show! But if you made a post that put Amphibia and Anne into separate tags (instead of mashing them together), then there’s a good chance you won’t see your post in the tags! This can get pretty frustrating if you type down something like (Insert Show) OC into the search bar, but because you put the tags separately as (Insert Show) and OC in your post, it won’t show up at all.

As far as I can tell, this happens to all of my #sterek posts. I don't think I've seen my own posts in the general #sterek tag search since I've come back to Tumblr.

I'm genuinely considering making a whole new Tumblr account from scratch...

Summary:

One would think the nogitsune rearing its ugly head again twelve years after having arrived in Stiles’ life the first time would have been the worst of his problems. Surprisingly, or not, it’s the beginning of them. In the aftermath of trying to find a solution to eradicate a thing that cannot be killed, Stiles finds himself a stranger in a strange land. One where the nemeton is a whole tree, the Hale house isn’t burnt to a crisp, and all the Hales are alive and living little Hallmark miracle lives. It’s… disorienting to say the least. Though getting to know a Derek that’s never killed, never been a victim, and never lost is an entirely different matter altogether. It’d be the perfect world, if it were his. For better or worse, Stiles has a world and a home of his own. A dad, friends, and thriving entrepreneurial employment that he’s left behind. All, hopefully, sans nogitsune. Unless he managed to mess that up along with displacing himself. Of course, getting back isn’t nearly as easy as getting… wherever he is. Partly because he has no clue how he got here.

Chapter 14 Extract:

It’s not the sadness of pity or empathy, of a man sympathizing for someone who’s lost their entire family. It’s an expression that, when combined with the flicker of his eyes in Stiles’ direction, indicates he’s disappointed that Derek is, apparently, dating his son again. His dad. Is disappointed.
