                            That would come as a shock that only he was the only one to visit Hiruzen now that he was Hokage after Tobirama’s death. It’s not a bad choice - Hiruzen was a natural born leader, and Kagami was certain that Tobirama saw it as well. The male felt a tad bit better knowing he hasn’t caused too much of a delay of his friend.                                         Hiruzen is right but it couldn’t be helped. It was habitual for him to apologize for any small mess up he caused. Finally able to log into this account after getting onto my old laptop.

The other Kagami passes his test with nothing more than a slight flinch and now this Kagami’s head is really starting to hurt.

“I know!” he says, putting his hands up as he confirms the other’s knowledge about clones. “And the chakra density is all wrong, right? You’d at least expect the tenketsu to– oh, nevermind… This is so strange.” There was no point in rehashing impossible theories that both of them knew.

That left room for only one sane explanation then:

“I have a twin? Really? Where do you live and why have I never seen you before?”

The other one was real, Kagami had touched him, so he could not just be a figment of his imagination… or could he?

Well, this wasn’t anything like what Kagami thought going mad would be like. He is almost disappointed that it happened so quietly, without his ever realising it.

It’s weird to say his own like that and not notice that there was double of him walking around, living and breathing just  like how he was. Kagami scratched at his cheek, this must mean they both have a child? --maybe the same wife? Same house?? He did smile at knowing his other counterpart knew about Tobirama’s teaching and wisdom he passed down to his squad.

He chirped happily.

Shisui chuckles and shrugs. He really didn’t think that his hair was a blessing. It was just there. He really didn’t think that his hair was that much of  a deal, but then again he never really gave his  appearance much thought.                “I’m blessed in other ways.”

It wasn’t exactly a curse nor a blessing to be born into the Uchiha clan but he saw that Shisui were one of the Uchiha’s wasn’t quick to be too judgmental like other members in the clan. He’s heard word about Shisui’s abilities and was quite impressed with that.

   The feeling of Kagami’s fingers in his hair    made Shisui smile and close his eyes. It was     nice to get some affection from the other.     He really didn’t spend too much time on    his hair. He let it just do its own thing.        “I really don’t.”

❴ –鏡❵ Really? He couldn’t tell. The male must really fortunate to have such a good hair gene. Kagami couldn’t say much on his own besides making sure to keep his hair under some maintenance, having good looking hair wasn’t too important while being on-duty.

    Shisui nods and smiles, glad that      the other was not upset with him.      It was rare that Shisui acted on an      impulse like that, but most of the     time it did not end up going so     well.            “You want to feel my hair?”

Sure, only because he was curious, Shisui reminded Kagami so much of himself when he was younger, the same unkempt hair as his own. The other’s hair looked silky and free of split ends. A gentle nod of his head as he moved his hand to feel his descendant’s hair.

He said chuckling, he couldn’t resist the urge to ruffle Shisui’s hair in a playful manner.

Shisui smiles at the reaction and rubs the back of his neck. "Just wanted to see if your hair was as soft as mine."

If that was the case then sure-- he guesses he can allow that. Now that it was brought up and they had the seemingly same type of hair, he wanted to know as well. His gaze softened at the other Uchiha, moving back toward the other.

❝ Ah, I see, I wish you could of informed me first. Well, I won’t stop you if you wanted to feel through my hair to confirm the curiosity. ❞

              Jumping slightly to fingers brushing against his scalp and combing through his hair.  Instinctively moving away enough to get out of arm’s reach, he turned to see a familiar face. His startled expression changed into an embarrassed one-- sheepishly smiling

“Well, I’m Kagami Uchiha! And I know that I’m not a clone…” He pauses to consider everything that his sensei had at one point forced into his head about chakra theory. “No, no, definitely not a clone. But then that means that you must be one.”

Kagami’s name is supposed to mean ‘mirror’ and it had been a source of entertainment for him growing up, annoying the girls to the point where they started crying for him to stop imitating them. It is not as amusing when its meaning becomes as literal as this, though. More like confusing.

He focuses a spark of lighting chakra to his fingertips, enough to dispel a clone, but not so much that if it were to touch an actual person they would feel more than a slight tingle, and moves to touch his double.

              At the accusation of him being the clone, his eyes widened marginally. he couldn’t be. Were they unknowingly some sort of joke for the meaning of their name? Was the Kagami in front of him joking? 

 ❝ W-wait a minute, clones have no chakra source-- unless someone altered Tobirama-sensei’s jutsu somehow. ❞

He had to admit this other Kagami made him feel nervous, whatever he was trying he’ll stand idle for him to test whatever he needed to test to assure that he wasn’t a clone in the slightest. This was weird though-- Kagami had no affinity with Lightning chakra but that one had it, so would he? Not too sure about if but maybe later on he’ll have to give it try. Meanwhile, he formed a hand sign that to his knowledge caused clones to vanish when they were no longer needed for assistance. 

The Uchiha male tried a total of three times as he was touched by his double-- a slight jolt ran through his body. A part of him wanted to disappear into a puff of smoke just as a joke that he was indeed a clone but in order to prove his innocence and to miss a perfectly good opportunity to play a joke.
