I reject the premise that trans women are the "main" targets of transphobia. I reject the premise that trans women are victimized more, worse, or more intentionally by transphobia than trans men. I reject the premise that trans men are only accidental or secondary targets of transphobia. I reject the premise that trans men are merely splash damage casualties in attacks against trans women. I reject the premise that trans men are only accidentally harmed by transphobia.

I should not have to post about transmasc issues with a disclaimer that "of course" trans women are hurt worse by this. I should not have to apologize for posting about transmasc issues instead of transfemme issues.

im at a point where if im writing for work or something, i specifically refuse to type “transgender and nonbinary” and instead will type transgender (including nonbinary). i know some nonbinary people don’t identify as trans, but i have only met two out of many many nonbinary people who don’t. i know my experience is obviously not end all be all, but it just feels strange seeing it separated out in every single source for transgender people. like, i am trans!!! what do you think the white stripe is for?!
