This short sentence describes everything I meant to say. A love poem directed towards the world instead of a singular person. The pure devotion one has toward their passions is not much different from unconditional romantic love. Astronomer is just a one-sided lover who has fallen for the sky above.

Just as a love-sick man notes every little quirk about their partner, a lover of the stars will spend hours observing the sky. Study celestial bodies in detail, hoping to understand how they work.
