Today, August 16th is DopeyDay 2023 AKA

Chrismiss in August. Today would have been Chris's 39th birthday. However, Chris, who is the co-creator of the @dopeypodcast horrifically overdosed and died five years ago. After Chris's passing, Dave continued to carry the show's torch and we started calling August 16 - Dopey Day. It is the day that we put the Dopey logo over our eyes to stand in solidarity and to help end the stigma around drug addiction and recovery! August is also considered overdose awareness month, but for us, everyday is an overdose awareness day!

Please put the Dopey logo over your eyes in solidarity! Do it for yourself! Do it to end the stigma! But most importantly do it for Chris! #dopeyday #dopeyday5 #overdose #dopeynation
