Your second month. A lot happened last month. You're starting to smile at everyone that talks to you and you're starting to talk back too! You absolutely love car rides and sitting supported! I honestly can't believe how much you've grown in the last 2 months. You're turning into a little person and my heart breaks and swells with joy at the same time. During this month, we celebrated my first Mother's Day. It was absolutely wonderful. You started sleeping in your crib too! Your father and I decided it was time you get a full nights rest, and I needed it too. You do awesome in your crib! We have a bedtime routine and it's been great for all of us. Bath by 9-9:30 ready for bed by 10 and your out before 10:30. You're such an amazing little girl. You sleep through the night 10-6 and you're a much happier baby and I am a happier mama. I'm lucky enough to be a full time student and get through school and hopefully nursing school so I can spend so much time with you. The bond we have is unbelievable. I can't wait to see what you grow up to be. Whatever it is, I know you're going to be amazing.

Your first month! Well, Izzy, what an exciting first month this was. We went on our first trip to visit Aunt Avalon and your cousins Ava, Stevie, and Rowan. I was an exhausted mother with endless love. I don't think I slept for more than 2 hours a time. We coslept and I felt at ease. Everyone is so in love with you. We started getting routines down your personality started showing through and man oh man do you have your mamas attitude, at least you're cute like your daddy. I wish I started doing these as the months were more recent and not so late because I honestly can't remember much. All I know is that my time and devotion was around you. I was finishing up the spring semester for school and it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Taking care of a newborn and school. I don't know how I finished that semester. But I did it for you.

0-1 month. Welcome to the world, Isabella Luna! We woke up that morning knowing today was the day we were finally going to meet you. We got to the hospital at 6 in the morning and I was so nervous and anxious and excited. I started to be induced at 7am. Me and your father were there and more people started showing up. First it was Aunt Avalon, then Aunt Andrea, Grandma, Nana and Papa, Great grandma, and then Grandma Toni. It took up until 3:30pm for the contractions to really start and I knew this was it. This was just the beginning of our journey. Aunt Avalon helped so much to keep me calm and to keep my breathing under control. I was falling in and out of sleep as the contractions were getting stronger and longer. I was breathing to the Bay News 9 Weather on the 9 theme song. That was my focal point (to this day I still feel contractions when I hear that damn jingle.) The rest is a blur until it was shift change for the nurses. The nurse that helped me all morning and evening came in to tell me that this was my nurse for the night. As the new nurse asked to take my blood pressure, I had a strong contraction, and that was it, you were coming and I knew it. It was so fast. There were nurses rushing in and helping to set up, the midwife came in and had your father and Aunt Avalon be my stirrups. You were coming and there was no stopping. Less than 5 minutes later, I hear that first cry. You were here. March 7, 2016 at 6:53 pm. 5 pounds 13 ounces and 19.5 inches long. I saw you and I instantly fell in love. I knew that I would always have you in my life. The amount of joy and fear I had at the same time was unreal. The first night, I don’t think I even slept. I just starred at you. Scared and so in love. I had no idea how to even change your diaper, how to change you clothes. I was so scared to touch you and hurt you. I just held you when I could. Breastfeeding was tough. You had a tongue and lip tie which caused you pain and me pain. My supply never came in like it was supposed to and you were jaundice. So we decided FED was best. The next night, it was time for us to go home. You were so little. You hardly fit in newborn clothes and you looked even smaller in your car seat. I was scared. I wouldn’t have nurses to help me, I wouldn’t have anyone if something were to happen to you, it was just me and your father. But, we managed and figured it out. Bringing you into this world was the best thing to ever happen to us.

Hello all and how I’ve missed you! Tumblr was a huge part of my life long ago and then the real world started to sink in, school actually seemed more important than tumblr and I haven’t found the time to update or mindless scroll through anymore and boy oh boy do I miss those days. Well, that’s changing and I thought I would update my followers on what’s been going on with my life! I’m currently a full time student working towards my AA in business management, working full time at my shitty fast food job, getting married to the love of my life next month and the most important piece of information, we’re expecting a little bundle of joy! I’m currently 31 weeks along and so excited what the future has in store for my family and myself. Adam is also in the process of enlisting in the military and we’re waiting to hear back for his meps date, The reasoning for this post is that pretty soon I’m going to have a lot of free time since I’m going on maternity leave real soon and I’m so ahead with my classes that I can’t do anything else until my teachers unlock my tests for me, I want to start a blog like the DearScarlet blog but for my daughter, Isabella (Izzy), and was wondering if any of my followers would be interested in following my journey with my family and would like to see my little terror grow up?
