How did you get your snakes?
Nessy (the familys first) came from petsmart , after joining professional ball python groups I learnt how awful chain pet stores are to be buying anything from and followed a bunch of breeders. I got my first, fatty, at a local reptile shop. He's the ghost enchi morph. After I learnt about morphs I wanted one! Picked him cause he was so pretty. Sunshine, my toffino, I ordered from a small breeder in Texas. Overnight shipping and all. I have two more normal balls, Mr.salmonella and Ezio. Ezio was a surrender/rehab case from a neighbor who couldn't afford food for him and who wasn't taking care of him correctly. Mr salmonella was the same case but much worse. The guy hadn't eaten in a year when I got him, layers of stuck shed, scale rot, extreme dehydration, slight respiratory infection, hard case of malnutrition. Anything, name it. He was the size of a two month old ball at the age of a year. Honestly thought he was going to die. Spent a couple months fixing him up and he's doing great now. His favorite thing to do is eat! Sweet boy went from living in his own waste to a lovely enclosure MODIFIED to fit the needs for a ball python (if you're using a tank enclosure they need lots of modification to ensure the snake isn't stressed out, despite what pet stores may tell you.) Custom ceramic hides and all! My short tail python was ordered from a small breeder in Maine. She's my newest edition 😊
This is one thing I adore about the giant shield; their butts are so aesthetically pleasing!
She's starting to look just like her mother

Did someone become an adult?
Happy instar 10!
(24+ hours since molt before I handled her)
If only my dull lightning would pick up the glory of his colors!
Enchi ghost
AKA my very first ball python
My double shield girl is getting so big! Had her since instar 2. Look at those colors
Gorgeous gastrica

Hi please do not steal or repost this without credit! I am selling this ghost mantis personality print
Mr salmonella in blue but still looking for food! He is a rehab snake who was surrendered to me. So glad he's nice and healthy now!
RIP to mama
Wild caught Chinese female who was mated to my male (named grandpa) this lovely girl laid three ooths and lived well past her time.
She died warm and peacefully of old age in her enclosure. A strong lady til the very end. Now we wait for spring to see if the ooths they had made together hatch! Guardians of the garden maybe? Chinese mantids are an introduced species and are very helpful as pest control along with the native 'Carolina mantis'. Mantids tend to interact well with humans. Friendly and gentle. Just dont go waving your finger in front of a hungry girl! Please do not harm these bugs nor let then scare you.
Hello little one!
