PSA that addiction to shopping and sh0pl1fting is real and not very avoidable, especially with sh0pl1fting. I know it gives you a rush everytime you get new stuff - that’s normal, me too, but PLEASE practice self restraint.
Do you need it? Would you pay for it? Is it worth going to jail for?
The answer to all of those for most of the things i consider l1fting is no. It’s not worth it. It’s fun, sure, but eventually you will get caught (everyone does) and most of the time it’s because you wanted that dopamine hit and got sloppy.

Seriously, even without the added benefit of free hangers, take hangers with you when you l1ft. Tags are easy to hide, but empty hangers are a dead giveaway that you’ve taken something

Conceal in yarn/fake flowers, don’t conceal in jewelry supplies, cameras are usually hemispheric so they can see a lot more than you think, and they usually use sticker rfids so check every barcode!

Popped out the micheals today and they’re using sticker rfid barcodes :/ looks like a normal sticker barcode but has rfids inside, i don’t think they’ve switched the tags for beads but be careful

For places like w1nners and h0mes3nse/h0m3goods, I’ve never seen them use internal tags even on designer items. The sticker barcodes they use (from what i know) don’t have rfids in them, but you should still double check for any other tags.
Designer items like purses etc, they’re likely to be tagged. I take purses by bringing personal items in another smaller bag, (i use a reusable shopping bag that can fold up tiny). Take the bag into the changeroom with clothes, take off tags, and put your personal things (hairbrush, hand sanitizer, phone, etc) into the new bag. If LP stops you just tell them that it’s your bag, and show them your things in it.
