“You could but it might be weird just the two of us .”
“Why? I mean we could learn to be friends, right? We could bring Chase with us.”
“I need to take a weekend in Vegas. There are some tournaments coming up and mama needs the money.”
"Maybe I could go with you."
robbielies:
“Well, that is probably a good thing because I do too. Come on, I’ll go clean out the dresser and half the closet. Speaking of all that, what do we plan to do with all the extra furniture?”
“I don’t know really. I mean there are some things I want to bring like a lamp and my desk, but there’s other stuff I don’t need like my bed considering…yeah.”
"We can turn one of the spare rooms into an office if we wanted. And we can keep ypur bed if you prefer it. We certainly only need one for us, but the guest room could do with remodeling. I want this to be our home and for us to decide what we wanr to do with it or whatever."
chase-weston:
“Yeah well, I do.”
“Well, that is probably a good thing because I do too. Come on, I’ll go clean out the dresser and half the closet. Speaking of all that, what do we plan to do with all the extra furniture?”
chase-weston:
“Robbie I…I love you. You know that right?”
“And I love you. I don’t think I could have asked you to marry me if you didn’t. If I didn’t think you did.”
chase-weston:
“I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to hurt you. Okay…I’ll move in.”
“I know that it wasn’t on purpose, Chase. Great, I’ll go clean out my tall dresser for you now. You already have like a drawer or two on there.”
chase-weston:
“The last time you asked me…I wasn’t sure we would even get this far. I was scared and certain that you would get tired of me and how closeted I was.”
“Doesn’t mean that it didn’t hit my ego a bit either way,” and crush him just a bit. And scare him that it would happen again. Robbie smiled and looked into Chase’s face grinning, “I don’t think I could ever tire of you. Come on, move in and start spending the rest of your days with me now. Please move in with me. We can turn into the ridiculous old couple who we see at the shop all the time.”
chase-weston:
“I’m not asking you to force me. I’m asking you to ask me and I don’t know, invite me. I don’t want to just…do or take. I’ve always lacked a comfort with the whole yours is mine thing because it’s not. Not yet I guess. I still sometimes feel like it would be an intrusion. That’s all. I just thought you would ask me to live with you in your usual excited manner and then it would be easy to just say yes.”
“i just want you to know that everything I have, I would give it to you. I guess. I am a bit...leery of asking you to move in. Not because I think it would be anything less then amazing because I know it would be. Just last time I went to ask, you kind of shot me down. So, I...I didn’t want to get shot down again. I know you like your roommate. I know you like your space. I do not want you to think that because we are getting married that you have to or that...that you don’t have a choice.”
chase-weston:
“I can’t just…move in with you. You have to ask me and if you would rather not then it’s fine. I don’t mind staying where I am.”
“Chase, of course I want you to live with me. I’ve wanted you to live with me for months now. I just can’t force you either. Why...why the sudden lack of comfort with what is mine is yours? It...everything I have is yours. All you need to do is take it. Hell, don’t even ask. Move in with me. Please?”
chase-weston:
“I don’t know…I figured you would ask me again now that we’re…engaged and such. If you want to wait though, that works too.”
“You know, if you want to move in with me, then I shouldn’t have to ask you. Just move in with me. I mean, it seems it is what we both want. And...would save you the travel time. We’re here a lot anyway. I would like nothing more.”
chase-weston:
“I like your shirts though and well I mean, we’re getting married right?”
“We are. But before or after. Now or then. Here or a new place. Just...whatever you want. I don’t want to make you miserable too quickly, cause then you’ll miss out on an amazing life with me.”
chase-weston:
“I don’t know. Do you plan to ask me to live with you or not?”
“Last time I nearly asked, I settled for cleaning you out a draw to leave some of your things so you didn’t wear my button downs to work anymore. So, I guess that depends on your answer.”
chase-weston:
“I actually wanted to talk to you about all of it. Not the basement room or anything. More…us.”
“Oh....kay?” Robbie said leaning on the counter and then asking, “Is this a bust out the bourbon type conversation?”
chase-weston:
“Just…you know I’m Hagan’s roommate and we’ve been roommates for a while and all that.”
“Yeah, I know. I was debating if I needed to transfer her room to the one in the basement to convince you to marry me at one point. Which would have been...interesting to explain to her.”
vik-clarington:
“Yeah it’s always been a good quality of mine. Of course not. I’m not an asshole. Sides, that’s his news to tell her and their dynamic isn’t something I want to mess with.”
“Yeah, I appreciate that. Hopefully it goes better then I even hope and works out. They are pretty close. I just hope she doesn’t hate me for it.”
chase-weston:
“They are high schoolers so, no. It went okay up until she asked about living arrangements.”
“Your living arrangements? Sorry, I need more explanation here.”
vik-clarington:
“I can see that. I saw him slipping a ring off his finger and into his pocket when he came through the door the other day. I assume that would be yours?”
“You’re observant. I mean, technically it is his, but...yeah. I guess I purchased it. You’re not going to tell Hagan before he does, right?”
