I don’t have enough memes to express my love for these pics.
Tony Stark is NOT a villain
Since people have called Tony a villain and also an arrogant person who never apologizes for any mistake, let me introduce you some points:
[IRON MAN]
It’s very clear that Tony had no idea about what the fuck Obadiah was doing on his name. Killing inocente civilians and sending weapons to terrorists was never what Tony created his industry for so when he realized that Obadiah was doing exactly what he goes against for, he just stopped everything in that part of Stark Industries and he didn’t even care about the money. He tried to tell Obadiah, Rhodes and specially Pepper that he wasn’t gonna do that kind of thing anymore, he changed his mind when he saw the destruction “he” had been causing and decided to count on them to believe that he was gonna do the right thing at that moment. Well, they just gave him some credit in the end of the film which sucks because the entire film is all about him trying to protect people and being trusted by his closest friends.
[IRON MAN 2]
One more time Tony got into a test. No matter how soft he was, nobody cared about him or the things he was saying. Pepper treated him like a piece of shit, Rhodes only decided to stay by Tony’s side after all the shit happened; but these two, in the deepest part of their hearts, have always been there for Tony so let’s give them some credits. Well, while Tony was basically dying and trying to save himself (for once), Natasha was sent to analyse him to see if he was “capable” to be an avenger or not. This is kind of abusive and weird, by my eyes, getting into his house to judge his actions and then tell Fury but okay... Anyway, when Vanko appeared and tried to kill Tony he got more helped by Tony’s enemies than Tony by his actual family (Happy, Pepper, Rhodes). Also those politicians never cared about Tony Stark, the man himself, they just cared about his stuff (think about those games where you have two options: give what you have to us or give us money). As always some things never change so Tony had been attacked, ignored and almost left and as if it couldn’t get any worse, the final result of Tony that is showed to Nick Fury by Natasha is that Iron Man can be an avenger while Tony Stark himself don’t like what the fuck (?) they totally ignored what Tony did, his work on creating his armors, his work on trying to protect people, his work on trying to be a better human being. That was more disgusting than Justin Hammer. Really.
[THE AVENGERS]
What a film. Tony shows up as the great person he is. For sure he got insulted (it’s still MCU, right?) but the entire film he just tried to keep the Earth safe and his new “friends” united. Well, about this film I wanna take something very special to talk about: “A big man in a suit of armor, taking that off what are you?” that was certainly the shittiest line. That showed us how some people still ignore everything Tony had done to upgrade, they disrespected him like he was nobody and when we think that quote can’t get any worse, well once again, that Brooklyn guy spilled some shit telling Tony to stop pretending he was a hero. Lmao I was about to put a pancake over my face to pretend I didn’t see that scene. Then, when they got separated by an explosion they finally decided by themselves that “together we stand, divided we fall” and got suited up to try to save the Earth from that, at least, threatning army leaded by Loki. But before this, let’s not forget that Tony almost died while trying not to let that ship fall down. So they fought. And fought. And, in the end, when there’s nothing more to do, a missile came to be the “end” of that discussion (and also New York) and then, our favorite villain is remembered again, by Nick Fury, of course...,,,... So as the great VILLAIN who doesn’t care about anyone Tony is, he took that motherfucking missile with his hands and left that shit inside the wormhole, yes guys, the WORMHOLE. Tony got himself outter planet to SAVE literally everybody. And yes, his new friends waited for him to get back for like... 15 seconds, or less and then Steve told Natasha to close the wormhole. While she’s doing it, that shit closed and we got scared because Tony disappeared; 2 seconds later he appeared again, I gotta admit that they looked happy but I looked happier, no doubt.
[IRON MAN 3]
This is surely the worst time for Tony, not only him was tested but his feelings. While he had to deal with anxiety attacks, PTDS and nightmares about the wormhole, Killian went back for revenge. He created a villainous story to go around Tony on the media and took the most precious thing Tony had ever had: his love, Pepper Potts. Tony got lost after his house blew up, he had to create things by himself which was fine because he’s The Machanic™ and that was the most important and iconic part of the film: he did THAT with no armor. Yes, the one who once was asked what was he without his armors just proved that he was the worthy hero, besides anything A Great Human Being. While trying to save the love of his life, he also saved people who were falling from the airplane in the AIR and the coolest part is that his armor could carry 4 people only and his brilliant mind saved all the 13. Not enough, in the end, Tony saw his love falling in the fire and thought she was dead, that was a heartbreaking scene because we can see in his eyes, for a few seconds, while she was falling, that he loved her and that he literally couldn’t live without her. All that pain caused by a dickfinger (Killian literally fucked up anything he touched) because Tony didn’t want to be a part of his motherfucking project. Fortunatelly, she was alive and he was so happy for that, also he destroyed every armor as a Christmas gift to Pepper, who was “tired” of that. Once again, in the end, he said he was a changed man and that he wasn’t only his armors, he was The Man™ always trying to fix things using his intelligence and also fix things with the people around him. [Bonus: the post-credit scene sucks because the film was told by Tony to Banner who slept and didn’t give a fuck.]
[AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON]
What the actual fuck. I can’t even describe this film without vomiting. Tony is literally blamed for ANYTHING. First of all, he got brainwashed by Wanda who found cool making fun with people’s mind (and let’s not forget that she’s a KID). Well, after a few minutes since the movie started Tony already saw his biggest fear right in front of his eyes: all of his friends dead; and you know what kept him sad and feeling uncapable till the movie ended? The fact that he was the only one who was alive. What a villainous person. After that shit, he tried anything to keep the Earth SAFE since he knew the threat was imminent. He tried to make sure our planet was safe but when Ultron (Tony and BANNER’s creation) came out, he took the fault. A mysterious robot with an “army” of robots made by JAVIS’s systems featuring a computer virus literally fucked everything up. Not happy having fun with people’s mind, Wanda also tried to “warn” Steve that they couldn’t trust Stark because he only fights for himself (and that’s the time I put another pancake over my face). This is so funny the fact that people always refer to Tony as “the man who only fights for himself” during this MCU phase. I don’t wanna spoil 100% of the movie but basically at the end Thor (after disrespecting Tony) realized that HE (Tony) was right oh and also Banner once said that, wow. I remember that there’s a part where Thor said to Tony that if he got there (under the city they just put in the air?) he was probably gonna die if their plan to save the Earth was good. Then, of course, Tony got there because he never give up, he would never leave those people there without trying to save their lives as many times as he was capable to. [Bonus: Tony is the one who tried to stop the Hulk since Wanda got in his mind too, so The Other Guy got out of control.]
[CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR]
Tony is sad af in this film. It starts for him remembering a moment with Howard and Maria Stark when he was a young boy, he’s also taking a break with Pepper (sure he blamed himself not to put the blame on her or make her feel bad). This film is very intersting because Captain America ran against the law and didn’t wanna follow any rule, unless this was HIS rule; Tony is the one who wanted to stop all the devastation The Avengers had caused while saving people by signing the Sokovia Accord (which was not gonna let The Avengers fight by their own orders but by governamental rules; and if we think deeply about this for sure they were gonna lose their “liberty” to chose their missions but also Ross said something right: they had invaded a lot of coutries and destroying things as much as saving them which is completely understandable because most of them were from the United States and there are different laws in every country but none of them accords to be invaded by “super people”). So while Tony was trying to convince Steve that that was the right thing to do, Wanda saw Tony as someone who was “hiding her and making her a prisoner” but let’s have a thought together: she was NOT an American citizen and she was a KID, what would had happened to her if the wrong people simply took her while she was outter house? This is so simple to see, if you’re not an American citizen and if you don’t have any document to prove that you got into the United States following their laws, you’re NOT gonna be able to show up your face in the window unless you wanna be seen, which I think you don’t that’s why you gotta stay fucking hidden (?) Anyway, some people also blame Tony for bringing a kid (Peter) into a war, but there are two weird things about it: a) people say Peter was a kid when Tony brought him into that fight (okay) but the same people say that Peter is a grown boy who knows what he can do and who has his own options (are we talking about Peter Quill right now???) b) if we’re talking about bringing kids into fights, well then your newest outlaw man named Steve Rogers just did the same with Wanda I guess I just don’t understand why people always forget about this part of the film what the fuck. I’m so sorry but I can’t do the equation unless I have all the variables. And also: why do people ignore the fact that Tony offered help to Bucky but Steve said NO? Y’all confuse me but when I think you can’t confuse me more... then you come out saying that Tony didn’t get the fact that Bucky was brainwashed because Tony tried to shoot him when he saw his parents dying like whaaat??? He wasn’t triyng to kill Bucky because hE Didn’T Get tHE fAct ThAT bUckY wAS BrAiNWaSHed (I just said he tried to help Bucky), but what the fuck would you, fucking intellectuals, do if you were eye-to-eye with the man who killed your parents??? Really what would you do? Start dancing? I don’t doubt. AND I didn’t even mention that Tony almost lost his best friend Rhodes,, and yes, at the end, they are together and Tony is giving his best to make his friend be okay again. I love this villain.
[SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING]
Really he barely appeared but when he did was only trying to keep Peter safe and make him feel better, and yes, some times they had their dad-son moments but not even for a second Tony tried to REPLACE anyone in Peter’s life, as some dumbasses were saying. Okay and let’s not forget the most iconic scene when Peter said “I was just trying to be like you.” and Tony replied with “I want you to be better.” (sure before this happened Peter said “If you really cared you’d actually be here.” because the last time Tony SAVED him, there was just the armor itself but commanded by Tony). In this scene we see how Tony was trying to keep Peter safe and specially when he said that the blame would remain on him if Peter had died. I’m sorry for showing you a real superhero guys, my intention was only to open your stitched eyes and you’re welcome. At least Tony got a good moment with Pepper and Happy: The Lord of the Ring.
And don’t forget that...
Favourite iron man movies scenes? Favourite avengers movies scenes?
Fav Iron Man movies scenes is probably when he is saved by his brilliant and exceptional intelligence when he got kidnapped in Iron Man (2008) but I also love when he makes his way out to find Pepper and fights those assholes without any armor, he uses his personal skills only in Iron Man 3 (2013). Fav Avengers movies scene is when he saves the world getting into that fucking wormhole in The Avengers (2012).
