Fever Dream. The most scary and vivid fever dream I had when was I had whooping cough when I was little. Kids medicine didn't exist in the late seventies. So I had to have half a teaspoon full of adult cough medicine. The side effect being it made me delirious and I started hallucinating that I could see spiders all over my bed and anywhere I looked one was in the medicine bottle. Everytime the light was on they scurried into the shadows. Then when the light was off they reappeared all over my bed with me in it. For years I have hated spiders, as soon as I saw one it would get squashed. Nowadays The bigger ones I catch if I have the means and ditch it outside. The tiddlers I just leave them be.
