I sketched today for the first time in months. 2021 has been very hard for me, not just because of covid but also a lot of things going on with my family and with social anxiety. My mental health has not been this low since I was 13.
My New Year’s resolution every year is to be more assertive, and I think that’s why I post so much stuff about Butters on this site, because him trying to stand up for himself really speaks to me. I think I have decided not to put too much pressure on the New Year. I’ll wake up on January 1st and it will just be a new day, and I’ll focus on making decisions for my own well being.

I feel like college students and young people in general get criticized when we say we are “too busy” for something. But at this point It’s not even that I’m “too busy” to pick up an extra shift or go to an extracurricular event. It’s that I don’t have enough mental energy to focus on more than 3 big things at once without wanting to lose it
