A familiar robot master has broken in through a skylight. Red and yellow coloring, with a boomerang in hand. Quick man. He grins as he rushes the main computer, swipes a USB into a plug port. Wait a second, before taking it back. "And job done, that was easy! Sorry about the skylight, Doc, just needed some data of yours. See ya~!" And with that the robot lunges right up through the glass once more, vanishing from sight. If Dr. Light were to find out what he took? It's just some maintenance data.
He had been in his dining room upon hearing of the initial incident.
Roll had done her best as per usual, trying out new recipes yet again so that the three of them in the house could all have a taste of something new. The dinner she had made, it was something he was sure he hadnāt tried before - but even so delving into it gave him a lot of nostalgia for some reason, making him relax more than he had in a while... Ever since all that had happened between him and Wily, he was afraid that his family might never catch a break, and the thought made him deeply upset.
Memories near the surface, he was just about to ask for the name of that recipe as his watch began to beep, and a gasp from Roll was audible - and being a house bot she was connected to all the cameras in the house. Seeing her expression change Light didnāt need to look at his watch to know that something was terribly wrong, and that he had best head to the lab as fast as he could. Inquiry abandoned, he ran down to the lab to investigate what was going on, what had happened to make his daughter so fearful.
When Thomas did arrive, he was stunned to find the scene that was laid out before him - the broken glass scattered across the floor, and while his feet only in socks he was too stunned to realize in that moment it was possible that he had tread on any shard of it. A Robot Master that he had hoped might be successfully reformed after his sonās prior encounters, standing amid this mess equipped with a weapon that he knew better than to be lax around - a flash drive, plugged into his computer and armed to take his private information.
He felt helpless, not even able to conjure up some sort of response before the bot was to flee back from where he had come. Perhaps he would be checking what was stolen from his later, but -
Foot pain aside, he had a lot more on his mind...
