Fnaf Ruin Spoilers,

Due to Bonnie’s clawed up state in Bonnie Bowl, it is basically confirmed (mixed with the SB’s original messages) that Monty decommissioned him.

The arc of Bonnie “retiring” and giving Monty his bass is most likely a explanation given by the company for viewers who repeatedly asked about it. It is a safe, child-friendly way of approaching it. Keeping the company safe from backlash, and keeping customers safe from “the truth”.

Why did Monty decommission him? I assume jealously mixed with the violent corruption we saw in SB. It is clear Monty does not like Freddy much - lack of Freddy in Monty Golf, Freddy thrown away in the Monty Golf Arcade game, etc. But Freddy is the face of the company, they cannot replace him without major rebranding/backlash.

I believe Monty knew he couldn’t get rid of Freddy, but what’s the next best thing? Hurt Bonnie: who is clearly Freddy’s closest companion. And to add oil to the flame, Monty replaced him. He got to hurt, and replace Bonnie while Freddy could do nothing about it.
