[🏃]——- What started as a simple visit to the track to reminisce ended up being a bit of a chance meeting for the bot. He hoped to see her, but at the same time, wanted to try and avoid it. Seemed like the latter wasn’t going to happen today, hearing her cheery voice. ⌜Ah! Plum!⌟ 

[🏃]——- ⌜Ahhhh… I-I’m just here to see things. I kinda missed it. And you what are you doing here?⌟ //No you idiot! She works here!// ⌜Ah-I mean. I know what you’re doing here, but-⌟ Smooth Quick… Real smooth… ⌜…How have ya been?⌟

Plum tilted her head slightly, blinking a few times. She wasn't entirely sure why Quick seemed nervous, but she didn't bring attention to it.

"I've been good! I've been helping to prepare and to report smaller races that happen here, and when that isn't going on I work on one of the local news channels as a reporter." She responded with a smile. Granted she didn't quite know Quickman personally aside from his entry into Battle and Chase, but she wanted to be polite anyway and he didn't leave a bad impression on her.

"How have you been? Are you going to enter into Battle and Chase again when it comes around?"

"Oh, hello, Quick!" Plum greeted the DWN, waving to him. She hoped that she got his name right-- it seemed right to her, anyway.

"What brings you to the track? Battle and Chase won't be happening again for a while..."

He wasn’t satisfied in the least. She’d answered, and passed his lie detectors, but he felt there was more he wanted to do. He almost wanted her to resist more, so he could do some real damage. He was wicked like that. He leaned back in his chair and sighed, trying to conjure up a new plan. “What else can you tell me? You obviously must’ve figured following my Joes would lead to trouble, and I’m most certainly not satisfied enough to just let you go. I’ve taken your footage, and I’ll take your memory. Your trackers are also fooling your main operator as if you’re where you should be. No one knows where you are.” He tapped his fingers on the tools, itching to use them.

Plum bit her lower lip, shifting a little. "I thought it would m-make a big news story. Y-You said it yourself, you have the footage I took, a-and I've told you everything already..." Thinking about it, Plum would rather forget the whole situation anyway, but she couldn't understand why she couldn't leave right then and there if she wouldn't remember anything about the Joes or her current situation.

“I know it’s more than that,” he rumbled calmly. “You’re a reporter, as I recall. Met you a few years back. My Joes are my property, and you have no right to follow them around like that. Who do you work for, specifically?” He could reveal as much as he needed, finding comfort in the fact he’d wipe her memory anyway.

"W-Well Joes are combat robots, aren't they?! It's not common to see them around the city! I-I got suspicious so I followed them!" She nodded her head at the bit about her being a reporter. "T-That's what I mean! I'm a reporter, I saw something odd, and I looked into it! I-I work for the local news channel and I report what goes on in the Battle and Chase events, a-and that's it!"

Plum looked at Charge pleadingly, hoping that he'd take her explanation and let her go. She was telling the truth, after all.

"Stop struggling so much. Your restraints could tighten and break your wrists." He leaned in threateningly to get a good look at her. His breath smelled heavily of alcohol and tobacco. 

"I'm going to ask a few questions. If you cooperate, this'll be easy and infinitely less painful. If you don't.." He took a tool and sliced one of the wires under her chest panel. The cut caused a short but painful zap, making her ears ring. "Now, what were you doing following my Joes?"

Plum flinched again when Charge leaned in, momentarily stopping her struggling. She yelped when the wire was snapped, beginning to shake violently from fear.

"I-I was just-- I kept seeing them in the city so I followed them--" Plum explained quickly, speaking faster from how panicked she was. "That was it, I swear! P-Please let me go--!!"

All sounds and feelings went blank for exactly ten seconds before she woke restrained in a dim room with one searing light. The pressurized restraints glowed a soft green and appeared to be hovering. She was allowed to see, speak, and hear. Soon, a bulky robot lumbered heavily in, one she’d seen years ago. Chargeman. He was covered in battle scars and lacked his right eye. His expression was subtle, but deeply enraged, she could tell. From the look of his cigar and sharp tools, Plum had an easy answer as to what was about to happen to her.

Plum jolted upright when she woke up, squinting at the sudden bright light. It took a few moments for her eyes to adjust, and by that point she saw Charge walk in before she noticed the fact that she was restrained. She struggled, shrinking back the best she could.

"W-Where am I?!" She asked, beginning to panic again. The last she remembered she had been grabbed and tossed into a truck, and the whole situation was adding up to nothing but bad things.

Seeing the sharp tools, Plum's eyes widened as her struggling increased.

"Um, hello…! H-how’re you doing?"

Please don’t let her ask about the roboenza outbreak, please………

Plum lit up once she saw Megaman, not hesitating in going over to him. If only she had her camera crew with her!

"I'm doing fine, Megaman!" She said cheerily, smiling. "Even better now that I'm talking with a hero! How have you been?"

(TIME TO TALK ABOUT WESTERN!PLUM.

She was built by a rather wealthy human and was created to interview others-- and to gather information. She's made of cheap parts, all sans for her memory chip. That part is made of high-grade parts, and has a lot of protection around it due to how important it is. Essentially, Plum is a massive storage unit. As a result, there have been several occasions where others will attempt to either kidnap her or force her open so as to gain access to the memory chip due to the important information held within it.

She lives in a small town that tends to have a good amount of criminal activity-- said amount of criminal activity only rose when Quickman arrived in town and became the sheriff. Quick soon developed a crush on Plum, and while the feelings weren't mutual at first, Plum did wind up falling for him as well. While she doesn't approve of how Quick does things a lot of the time, she still loves him. She's afraid of Snakeman (Quick's right-hand man) and generally tries to avoid him.

Plum is one of Elec's many victims who was attacked by him, and she eventually dies at his hands later on.)

No one would, either. Whoever was holding her hopped in the back of a box truck. The driver floored it out of the alley and navigated easily through the city. He was yelling orders and getting many ‘yes, sir’ responses from others.

Despite not getting anywhere with her struggling, Plum continued doing so regardless. She tried to kick whoever was holding her.

Plum was doing her best to not panic, but given her situation and the fact that nobody seemed to hear her calls for help, she was getting a sinking feeling about the whole thing. If she jumped out the back of the truck she'd surely be injured, and whoever was kidnapping her would probably chase after her if she somehow got out.
