Week 1 of my Thrive experience and I am down 5lbs. Besides weight dropping I'm most encouraged by me energy levels and an overall sense of wellness. This is unlike anything I've tried before. Up until a week ago it didn't matter how much sleep I got, when I woke up I felt as tired and sluggish as I did when I went to bed. Between 2 and 4 in the afternoon fatigue would set in and I was miserable. By the time I got home I was wiped out. This past week has been miraculous and I'm just getting started. Change is my one word for the year. To change you have to be willing to do things differently. Stress, weight gain, and severe fatigue is a battle I've been fighting. My one word for #2017 is #change. One area of change is my approach to #health. Today I started the #thrive challenge and can't believe how good I feel. My energy level has been great. My workout exhausting thanks #tonyhorton #beachbody and P90X. In 2009 I worked the program and got into the best shape of my life. In the last 3 years I managed to get into the worst shape of my life. I was at 190 lbs. Today I am at 260 lbs. The heaviest I have ever been. My plans can be misguided and shaken even when I have the best intentions. I'm learning to hold my plans loosely so that I can fully embrace the plans God has for me.
