"…" For a long time, she just stares at the blonde standing in her doorway from her seat on the couch, her chin resting on her palm with a expression that clearly read “che cazzo is she doing here…” 

On the other hand, she couldn’t help but be a teensy bit amused at how long it took for her to track her down at her own apartment, as it wasn’t exactly as secluded as her hideout near Laverre. She supposed that she should congratulate her.

Not realizing that a wedding band had mysteriously appeared on either of their fingers, she dryly asked, “So… what now? You and your Rocket pals are now gonna try to finish me off in my own domain?”

Although it took minutes for Kita to respond, her expression clearly gave away the thoughts that surged through her. She might as well should have carried a posterboard sign. The Barbie doll bared a grin as she freed her hat and boots, throwing them aside lazily in the corner, then plopped herself adjacent to the dark-haired woman. She joked, “I do have to give you credit. This place is so out in the open, so damn obvious, that really I walked right past it. You managed to fool me.” Then something made her turn her head in confusion. Her wife seemed… what? Dazed? Lost? Amnesic? Why did Kita have no idea that they had recently got married? No, this must have been one of Kita’s tricks as usual – she always seemed to want to one-up the blonde. “Is there a reason I should finish you off, sweetheart? Maybe something a bit more valuable in this apartment besides that ring on your finger?”

✩ :Belief they've questioned/struggled with

Pardon the cliché, but Domino has difficulty in accepting a higher power. She feels disillusioned by all the stories she heard of the legendary pokémon as a child, now viewing them as meaningless. She believes in these pokémon, having seen at least one, but she does not view them as deities. This decision would be okay if Domino had supports from elsewhere, but she does not. She has no contact with her family, has no friends, and perceives her colleagues as incompetent fools. At the bottom of it all, Domino struggles with herself and her role in the world. She suffers from a phobia of failure, and with this comes the questioning of her own worth.
