Can Robert have his own fashion line?
Not very often I play by myself with an acoustic guitar... but I kinda like it!
A little bit of “Wild World”. Borrowed my friend’s (slightly out of tune) guitar. Cat Stevens would be turning in his grave (if he were dead, that is!)
So there’s a little story which goes with this video...
I went to the pub for a couple of drinks with my friends. As it happened, there was an open mic night on, but I had no intentions of performing. Towards the end of the evening, I was approached by the proprietor of the establishment, asking me if I wouldn’t mind performing a tribute to her lifelong friend, who had recently passed away. She was originally from Liverpool, and explained to me that both she and her friend were huge Beatles fans, and regularly busked on the streets of Liverpool using Beatles material. As it transpired, not a single person in the pub that night knew how to play any Beatles songs. This led to me downing my drink, borrowing someone else’s guitar, and scraping together what I remembered of “Blackbird”. This is the result. Here’s to you Johnny Walker!
Ps. Can you tell I’d had a few to drink by this point?
