Sunset lover 

Are you as peaceful

Are your changes as sudden as the sun

Will you take my breath away 

Or will you disappoint me 

Leave me lonely and anxious 

Only when the sun isn’t out and you display nothing but gray

Please tell me you’re as vibrant as this 

Will you be having me anticipate

The way the sun and the skyline do before they kiss

Tell me your view is accompanied by slow, rippling waves

I find that you are more beautiful that way

The way the clouds spread out and the sun takes its toll

To take the day away

And put you in that daze

I sit still and adore it

Appreciate it on all days

Including the days where it’s most beautiful

Thats the way I want to make you feel

You deserve the appreciation I have for the sunrise 

Every glance

And every bit of me wants to connect with you 

Place your heart with me

I’ll keep it safe

And every inch of you I promise shall be savored

I however, am an open book that is hard to read

But let me guide you 

Like the sun has captured me 

There’s some beauty that not everyone has had the privilege to see

But you

Will you let me have you on a good day? 

I want to confess my feelings to you

Born unto death,  the dusk knows my mind. It brings forth  things buried deep.   Through these eyes  that come to life at night,  there is no redemption in sight,  there is no light in the end. My body aches,  as I feel like giving in. But something burns strong,  that keeps me going.

Loving you is like breathing in flames,

It hurts like hell,

But I love the taste.

The burn in my lungs keeps me sane,

It anchors me to this realm.

Oh— how I love the pain.

Pain is a pseudonym for you,

And you are pain my soul cannot live without.

It is essential for survival.

Reality is a fight-or-flight situation,

And my fight is you.

My fight is every breath I have taken,
