I did wonder if he was the one to filch you from the household. I presumed he must have hurried you away in the morning or even entrapped you with meals.” Meals he could stomach and she narrowed her eyes further, “How long are you presuming you wish to stay?”

"Frank will never come back for me. I know that. He's not my owner anymore." He shrugged not afraid of that. "I was ashamed that I wasn't worth it. Any of it. I didn't belong here. I couldn't contribute. Now I can. I can work and help. If I disappear again, it's because they want me to smile for some camera." He looked away. "I don't know. How long do you want me? I know ou can throw me out whenever you'd like, Countess."

My expectations for the last two were down to the ground, which I think helped me enjoy them XD

I was looking forward to the last two the most, and a friend said they weren't so good. I was pretty disappointed, but I still liked the story.

Now he returned for what? To acquire more inspiration for his modeling? She would inform the servants to seek out the magazines in the household and view if there were any with Rocky in the tomes. “Yes and you returned here to this household to inform me before taking leave once more? If I last recalled you were there in y household one evening and the next evening you had taken leave.”

"I'm not here to leave. I don't want to leave. I never wanted to leave." He smiled at her. "I was bad. I ran away. Countess should punish me, and now I'm more than just a pretty statue. I can be helpful now. Before all I did was get in the way. I hated being a burden to you Countess. If you want me to go though, I will. I'm sorry I was so abrupt. I was ashamed." He tried to explain.

My humble opinion after only reading each once: RD is the most poetic, but doesn’t have enough Hannibal. Harris didn’t seem to understand what an amazing thing he could be writing with Will and Hannibal interacting. SotL is better plotted out and the characters are utilized better. My personal favorite is Hannibal, despite weirdness and a WTF ending. HR is a good revenge story and a good serial killer book, but not the greatest Hannibal Lecter book. Again, mho ^_^

I can agree with that. I think that's why Bryan Fuller is doing what he's doing now, because Lecter and Graham are so great together. Hannibal took me the most amount of time, and I was very confused mostly with where he was going. It didn't seem realistic, but I still enjoyed it. You're right. The ending was jacked. RD and SotL were my two favorites, but the last two were interesting. HR was just hard for me to follow. I just expected more I guess.

He didn't look away from her, but he sat down still respecting her for what she had done for him. "I got a job in construction. I learned to not be so clumsy. One of the men I worked for thought I'd make a great model. His niece was looking for someone and I fit perfectly. They had me tutored so I can at least understand simple things now. I can fend for myself. I'm better, Countess."
