I’ve been reading Juniper & Thorn. I’m only 100 pages in but I really like it so far. I love the dark fairy tale vibes, and I feel like Marlinchen is a well written protagonist.

If anyone knows similar books, I’d love to hear them. This is my first Ava Reid book, and I’ll definitely be reading her debut novel after this.

I’m absolutely obsessed with Fields of Mistria right now. It’s eaten up a lot of my time lately. It’s just so cozy and addictive.

I have no idea who to romance in the new update. I am in love with Balor and Caldarus. I also want to be in a throuple with Juniper and Valen. So many decisions.

I really want to doodle my farmer. She’s a wannabe girlfail witch. Though she had an affinity for magic, she is not a good caster. But she has a green thumb! Which leads her to Mistria after seeing the call for a new farmer.

I truly cannot bring myself to romance anyone else in that game (except maaaaybe Leah, I clearly have a type). I just love him so much. I love the sweet, sweet letters he sends me. I want him to wax poetic to my farmer all day every day.

Jesminda and Lucien as a retro romance novel! Would you pick it up? :’)

I imagine Jesminda as being a tree spirit, dryad type of girl. Half Himalayan pine (her father, from the Winter Court) and half Elm (her mother, from the Autumn court); real world ethnicity-wise, I see that as half Tibetan, half Catalan or Occitan (because I imagine the Autumn Court as the Pyrenees)! And I imagine her being more late Autumn, very Evermore by Taylor Swift, wooded and rich and chilly 🤎
