Peppino has scars on his back and arms. He had been bullied by cats or felidae Linthros. He remembered that they had bad prejudice about canis(dogs) Linthros. He didn't know what to do, just scratched by felidae Linthros until he's 20s.
So he had sort of phobia of stripes and felidae because of his scars and his bad memory of past. He got used to meet small cats, but had a fear of big felidae. Mostly tigers. They are felidae, also have stripes. He wasn't get used to see some Griffins including Phil, because Griffins have lower half of the felidae body.
Speaking of stripes, Noise has orange stripes on his back of head, arms, legs, and back. Like a tiger. Unfortunately, because the costumes covers his stripes at all, no one can't feel attractive about him easily. But when he goes to sauna, their perspective toward him would be different. So anyone who already has seen his stripes can't underestimate him anymore.
Well... Peppino already saw his stripes. He thought he is so similar with a tiger and got nervous. But he tried to pretend not to be afraid of him...
Most Ferals are wild, and not so sociable. They don't interact with any Linthros easily. Because their lifestyles and thoughts are different.
However, there are some Ferals who are curious about Linthros and their lifestyles. So they usually move to Linthros' territories and adapt to be a Linthro. So they are called Linferals.
Phil also had curiosity of Linthros, so he wanted to live and interact with them. He studied history, philosophy, and art, and got used to be a Linthro, wearing clothes and standing on two feet.
Spirits are just like pets. Magical pets.(they can be similar with Pokémon a little) So they usually tag along with their owners. Also the owners tame or take care of them with love. If they interact with each other and are on the same page, they can show their harmony of magic.
Well, although it's useful and helpful with spirits, some magicians use bad methods to be spirits. The way is that a Linthro becomes a spirit. It includes in 'Forbidden Magic'. It makes the spieces' position change to be a chaos in the world. Pizzahead planned to change one Linthro into a spirit. The sacrifice was...... HER.
The society is mixed with various breeds and spieces, so they used to overstimate, underestimate, have prejudice, or misunderstand. That's why the discrimination exists. The Noise also has discrimination on specific spieces. He used to bully some small Linthros, like rodents. But Noisette always stopped him not to do it and apologized to them instead of him. This routine maintained... until something happened in the mysterious tower...
