Command Squad primed and ready
Decided to give my Tower of Skulls a proper Photo set. The Vision of Gore, one of the 12 towers dedicated to Khorne.
Ok got the command squad comstructed...might have to re-adjust the banner though.
Then it's on to getting the bases ready
Prospects for the Mortifactors Command Squad:
Chapter Master Kemur'Kaan, Mortifactors
WIP Mortifactors Chapter Master
Steel Legion Officer WIP based on my concept art.
Armageddon Steel Legion Sentinel squad. (Complete with a couple of the original metal Armageddon pattern upgrades!)
Project Revenge for Armageddon is a go
The vehicle drawer of the scrap yard is a bit diminished after the last project. But we got a fully built Chimera and I found my old Armageddon pattern Sentinels for a start to a Steel Legion project.
Zuul of Gath is ready for the prime and paint station.
Zuul of Gath, Skeleton champion of Chaos, is now finally a WIP mini form.
"Bryan loved random generation tables – he was ultimately more interested in the narrative and character of a game than its purely competitive quality – he liked mechanics and ideas that were engaging in themselves – hence all the random generation tables. The Realm of Chaos was a showcase for all of those things." (Rick Priestley)
Bryan Ansell was based as fuck.
First (possible) mini project of the year; Loyalist Chapter.
Scythes idea took a nose dive, as did a possible crack at a White Scars successor chapter. After soul searching and much musing and trying to keep up on my dry Jan. pledge, I decided to try and revisit my old flame; The Mortifactors.
2025 in review.
Two whole armies completed (Beastmen - Old World, City Guard - 40k), several small warbands and various characters and test minis for future ideas.
Currently have no plans on what to work on next. I'm in a bit of burnout with mini work, so I'm hoping lighting strikes at some point in 2026.
Took the ME armies out of stasis to give them some TLC, poor bastards are old and broken as hell. I don't have a lot of hobby motivation lately, so I figured I should play doctor for my older minis instead.
