knock knock || Dimitri & Fire
Whenever Fire had a day off from work all he wanted to do was stay home and take care of his companions and catch up on some sleep. Usually he was able to do that with no problem, it was easy to avoid phone calls from his coworkers asking him to hang out. All he really had to do was put his phone on mute and ignore it for the night and that was it, they would stop calling eventually. He was never really expecting a few of them to show up to his apartment, and Fire was even more surprised when they dragged him to go to a bar to drink.
By the time Fire made it back to his apartment building, it was a bit past midnight. He was feeling a little bit tipsy and it seemed as though his legs and feet didn’t want to listen to him. He was also tired as hell. As he reached the door of his apartment he realized he couldn’t find his keys (and his roommate wasn’t home), which resulted in him trying to forcefully open the door and a lot of loud cursing. This might have worked if Fire used a bit more force and was actually at the right apartment door. He was too tired (and drunk) to bother checking the number on the door, which clearly said four. Giving up, Fire slumped against the door and sat on the floor, thinking ‘this is fine, I can just stay like this, it doesn’t matter,’ and closed his eyes.
